@WallStreetApes She needs to learn how to manage money. If she’s working in an operating room she’s at least a RN. RNs generally get time and one-half after 8 hours. If she lives in a high cost of living area her hourly rate will be $40 or more.

This American works full time in the operating room at a hospital and just got off a 12 hour shift It’s after midnight and she must now go drive DoorDash after being on her feet for 12 hours because the cost of living is so high in America “I work in the operating room and I just worked a 12-hour shift in the operating room and I cannot afford my rent. I can't afford my rent. I can't afford gas. I can't afford groceries. I can't afford any of my endless other bills that I am responsible for because I am an adult. After working a 12-hour shift in the operating room. So you know what I have to do? I have to DoorDash, and it's 12: 30 at night after I've been on my feet in the operating room for 12 hours all f*cking day. I'm now out DoorDash driving” I’ll never shop sharing these stories because we must ALL advocate for a drastically lower cost of living We cannot accept this is the way things are. We cannot accept this is the direction we’re going and things will just keep getting more expensive

Today marks Nakba Day, an annual day of remembrance to commemorate the expulsion of more than 700,000 Palestinians between 1947 and 1949 during the creation of the State of Israel and the year that followed. Inea is a New Yorker and a Nakba survivor. She shared her story with us — one of home, tradition and memory over generations.

@bobwojnowski I was in eastern Pennsylvania a few days ago and saw several buggy’s on the road that had electric turn signals. Maybe that’s not new, but I wasn’t expecting it.

I’m not judging, only observing. At this rest stop in Ohio, about 40 Amish people arrived and ordered Panda Express and Burger King. Very quiet, very polite. When I left, not a single buggy in the parking lot, just a giant tour bus. Did the Amish rules change and nobody told me?

Bring BACK the CRUSADES. Next time a sloshed up Tucker Carlson and Cosplaying Rambo tells you “Israel Bad - Islam Not So Bad…” - READ the Silenced No More report; 1400 hrs of video and photo analysis. - WATCH the Gaza kindergartens training kids on hostage taking. My hot take on the Xi-Trump summit (as of today): Nothing really came out of this. It is a waste of time for both. Therefore it is a win for China because America’s time is more valuable

@GuntherEagleman These are extreme claims that don't hold up to scrutiny. Squatting is illegal, veterans have dedicated benefits, and undocumented migrants are barred from federal public assistance. Let's debate real policy, not viral outrage.

Elon just endorsed it. Gad Saad dropped the hammer on Fox this morning. We now live in a world where: - Rape victims get less sympathy than their rapists - Homeowners get less than the squatters breaking in - American vets get less than illegal migrants - Repeat felons with 186 charges get 200 more “chances” because “society made them do it” This isn’t kindness. This is suicidal empathy. Universities spent decades teaching our judges, leaders, and elites that personal agency is a myth if you check the right oppression boxes. So criminals become victims, victims become bigots for complaining, and the whole system rots from the inside.

The careless decision to reduce our force posture in Europe, along with moves by Pete Hegseth and his political henchmen to force out some of our finest general officers is amateur hour at best and deadly at worst. Hegseth continues to surprise and disrespect our greatest allies and some of our best military professionals with impulsive decisions not grounded in reality or good judgment. If the rumors are true that Hegseth is trying to sideline General Chris Donahue, one of our nation’s finest warfighters, by downgrading U.S. Army Europe-Africa to a 3-star command, he is taking another step down a dangerous path. A step that is not in the best interests of our nation or our servicemembers. General Donahue has dedicated his entire career to upholding the high standards and warrior ethos that Hegseth claims he is restoring to our ranks. Gen. Donahue has led Soldiers at all levels in Airborne (including Ft. Bragg’s 82nd) and Mechanized units, the 75th Ranger Regiment, and our most prestigious special operation units. He deployed over 20 times in support of Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, New Dawn, Inherent Resolve, Atlantic Resolve, Freedom’s Sentinel, European Assure, Deter and Reinforce, and in support of the Sudan crisis. Hegseth would do well to surround himself with more patriots like General Donahue and to get his henchmen, who are not qualified to carry Donahue's bag, out of the Pentagon. Keep your word, Mr. Secretary: choose meritocracy over your mediocre yes-men. notus.org/defense/pentag…

@DA_Stockman Mao didn’t win “fair and square.” While both Chaing Kai-shek and Mao agreed to fight the Japanese, Mao lied and saved his forces to fight the depleted Nationalists after WWII.

No, he's right on Taiwan. It's been Han Chinese since the 17th century, and is only a separate country because Henry Luce, the publishing titan of Time-Life and GOP red baiters like Tricky Dick Nixon, forced its recognition by Washington in 1949 when Chain Kai-shek lost the civil war with Mao fair and square and retreated to Formosa to escape the obliteration of what remained of the nationalist army. But America's homeland security was never implicated in saving Chaing's bacon. So Washington should have gotten the hell out of the Chinese civil war 77 years ago. The only reason we are still there is that the neocons, war-mongers and MIC (military industry complex) need a foreign "enemy" to justify Washington hideously bloated Warfare State and to make foreign arms sales by the MIC, to boot.
Republicans against Trump@RpsAgainstTrump

Trump clearly sold out Taiwan. When asked on Air Force One on the way back from China whether the U.S. would defend Taiwan in the event of a Chinese invasion, Trump replied: “I don’t want to say. That question was asked to me today by President Xi. I said, ‘I don’t talk about it.’” Trump also said, “On Taiwan, President Xi feels very strongly about it.” It’s clear China got the green light to move ahead, especially now that the U.S. is bogged down in the Iran war. Under Trump, our allies can’t trust us, and our adversaries don’t fear us.

@AwakenWithJP What most impresses me is how those Israeli bombs stripped the asphalt off the main road there without doing any noticeable damage to the road. Highly impressive, or this picture is a fake.

Like a good neighbor, Israel helped remodel Gaza from what it was above to what it is now below. Netanyahu says they’re just doing God’s work. Probably shouldn’t question that.

Megyn Kelly’s COMPLETE 180 on Islam - from citing @Ayaan’s firsthand experiences with its brutality to now claiming there’s a “paid-for manipulation” campaign by Israel to make people hate Muslims. Notice the pattern: Every position Kelly takes gets framed as though she’s the brave victim being bullied, smeared, or pressured for holding it. Ironically, she even claims Tucker Carlson was fired from Fox because of his criticism of Muslims not assimilating.

There’s a deep-seated cancer going on. I’m not surprised by the antisemitism on the left, particularly among those who embrace radical Islam. However, the rise of antisemitism on the political right is concerning. The sudden belief that Jews are solely responsible for their problems is absurd. How did a movement that prides itself on personal responsibility and resilience end up adopting such a victimhood mentality?!
Reese Gorman@reesejgorman

New: Sen. Rand Paul’s son drunkenly accosted and hurled anti-Semitic insults at Rep. Mike Lawler at a Capitol Hill bar on Tuesday night. His son told Lawler that if Rep Thomas Massie loses, it’s going to be because of “your people.” “My people?” Lawler asked Paul. “Yeah, you Jews,” Paul responded.  “Do you think I’m Jewish?” Lawler asked. “I’m not.” “Oh wow, I’m so sorry for calling you a Jew,” Paul said.  He then said that Jews were “anti-American” and how Lawler and his “Jewish supporters” served Israel more than America. notus.org/congress/willi…
