3 months ago I quit OF and was unemployed. My health had been struggling for years and I couldn't apply to any full-time jobs or ones that would require physical labor. I was worried I would be unemployed for awhile.
Today, I am 2 months into my new job, got a raise and performance bonus that will give me a similar income to when I was working for myself with less hours and less stress. I get to pick my hours, my boss is kind and considerate of me. Being able to work from home, I can focus on my healing journey.
It's been a breath of fresh air to be able to have a work life balance and taking a new relationship with social media to use it as a way to express my true self and connect with others that share similar interests.
I know how I post and what I post is a lot different from before, but I just wanted to say I believe life does work out for people who don't give up, work hard, fall in love with learning, form connections with others, and offer help to those in need.
