And also with the current battle for the next top 1, people like to pick sides instead of just enjoy all the top players grinding to verify a cool new top1

@hoezayART I actually think this will be like the ff7 remakes. They’ve labelled this as OoT being reborn, not remade, and OoT is already playable on switch so I feel like this has to be something really big to be worth buying, just like final fantasy 7 remake, rebirth and soon revelation

i feel like i'd only be interested in this if it was a full reimagining instead of a 1 to 1 remake. Kinda like ff7 remake

@BringBackBanjoK I think it’s a worthy candidate for best 2d Mario. I think it’s contested by World, NSMB on DS and NSMBWii, but not by SMB3. I’m sorry, but 3 is carried by nostalgia, the level design is good sure but nothing that World and Wonder haven’t done Celeste clears these games

Solid game but the stagnancy of the series lead to it being immediately very over rated. Doesn’t belong in the conversation for best 2D Mario, or anywhere near the conversation for best 2D platformer.
