@axooms @united Done this for years. Absurd they won't allow online/app check-in. They want to see that the bags you're bringing are small personal items only. United is the only airline that restricts full-sized carry on bags on basic economy fares. American/Delta offer better value.

@united now makes checking in for a flight harder - unless you spend more on a ticket or in checking a bag. Adding additional discomfort to extract higher prices is a @united foundational principle.

The incident started when an angry woman snagged a phone and threw it into the street. (She was later smacked on accident by one of the men she was with). One of the black men then swung at a Marine and missed which then escalated the fight. The Marines knocked down one of the men after he landed three punches on a Marine.
