No, you shouldn't be required to provide proof of God at all, because God isn't provable through scientific means. It's a spiritual matter, not a scientific one. Science will answer the HOW of creation, God explains the MEANING of it. And that meaning is supported by and for your faith alone. People who confuse this end up getting upset.
