The forum was held by the Department of Health Services in partnership with Action for Community Development Centre (ACDC) and Trudy for Indigenous Culture and Health.

His Excellency Governor @DrBadilishaK is stepping up the fight against HIV/AIDS infections, Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and teenage pregnancy through targeted, youth-focused interventions across Nyandarua.

Earlier on, ACDC convened a policy dialogue with community gatekeepers at Leshau Pondo in Ndaragwa, bringing together key stakeholders for meaningful deliberations on #CSE and the mitigation of the Triple Threat of #TeenagePregnancies, #GBV and new #HIVInfections. #ACDCInAction

Yesterday we joined Nyandarua residents for #publicparticipation of the Nyandarua #CFSP FY 2026/27. #ACDCInAction We shared our recommendations mainly highlighting the need for #meaningful public participation, including ward-level fora & feedback to citizens. #BudgetMatters

Great to welcome back our NextGen Leaders Fellowship alumni at @SBSKenya for a one-day reflection session. The fellows got an opportunity to share key milestones and challenges since graduating in June. They also received coaching to strengthen their social projects. @ACDCenterKE Survivors of GBV stay silent because of fear, stigma, cultural norms, dependence, and inaccessible services. To break these barriers, we must believe survivors, protect them, empower them economically, improve justice systems, and make all services inclusive.
