During our #WTOMC14 side event to celebrate the ACWL's 25th anniversary, about 20 delegations took the floor to praise the role of the ACWL in levelling the playing field for developing countries and LDCs within the multilateral trading system.

🙌 Thanks to the Governments of Norway and the United Kingdom for their generous financial support for Saint Lucia's accession. 🌍 The ACWL now provides legal assistance and capacity building to over half of the membership of the WTO.

🇱🇨 We are delighted that Amb. Anthony Bryan Severin signed Saint Lucia's Protocol of Accession to become a developing country Member of the ACWL on the margins of #WTOMC14! #SaintLucia @NorwayInGeneva @UKMissionGeneva

🌎 With this accession, the ACWL continues to strengthen its membership by providing legal support to more than half of the WTO membership. 🤝 We look forward to collaborating closely with Cabo Verde to enhance its participation in the WTO through legal assistance.

🙌 Thank you to Norway for the generous financial contribution that made this possible. We were also delighted to have the presence of a delegation from the Norwegian Parliament, the Storting, at the signing.

🇨🇻 On the margins of #WTOMC14, Amb. Clara Manuela da Luz Delgado Jesus signed Cabo Verde's Protocol of Accession to the ACWL. We are proud to welcome Cabo Verde as a developing country Member of the ACWL! #CaboVerde @NorwayInGeneva @Stortinget
