Henry Nowak was stabbed in the face and legs. How did the police not see his wounds before handcuffing him, and letting him drown in his own blood? No apology will suffice. Release the bodycam footage.

@dogwoodblooms Belk used to be a nice place to shop and a pleasant experience before the ownership change. Now, no one that I know shops there. I have been in once in 4 years, and that was only due to a specific brand that I could only find at Belk (Wilmington).

Henry Nowak has received his first piece of justice after Vickrum Digwa was found guilty of his murder. But justice for Henry remains incomplete until the officers who let him die are punished too. No, your mealy mouthed apology is not accepted. When is their trial date?

I can’t help thinking that the police apologising for allowing Henry Nowak to die after they handcuffed him and refused to save him and saying lessons will be learned, isn’t enough. They’ve been saying that since the Yorkshire Ripper in the 70s. They’ve said it hundreds of times when they’ve failed the public who needed them. They don’t learn. They’re not sorry. They’re just completely incompetent. A disgrace. God help anyone who needs them in the future because they too will be failed.
