@bradynichols88 @RonJambo4 @SenTomCotton You’re being very dishonest. You know that his physical presence is irrelevant under constitutional law
English

@AEcho13 @RonJambo4 @SenTomCotton lol. yes, tom cotton is physically going on campus to censor them.
English

@JoeSKLee @khaled_binali @halalflow @krystalball When Palestinians protest peacefully, the IDF massacres them. Google: March of return
English

"This is such a clear attempt to distract from what's happening in Gaza and try to change the conversation and debate that has been lost by those who say Israel, no matter what." @krystalball breaks down the facts as unhinged pro-Israel defender tries to occupy the debate
English

@nanakaren11 @ColinDMello @MaritStiles You want to require non-Jewish people to wear a kippah? That’s idiotic
English

@ColinDMello Nope @MaritStiles . Not this time. If your members are only wearing them as a political statement, they should be wearing a kippah as well, unless you are supporting the October 7th massacre and the endless racism against Jews.
English

Members of the Arab Canadian Lawyers Association had a meeting scheduled with NDP leader Marit Stiles.
They were barred from entering QP due to the keffiyeh ban. They’re now having an outdoor meeting on the legislative grounds.
#onpoli

English

@wildplumbay @RobinMartinPC What kind of bubble do you live in that you’ve somehow never seen a keffiyeh in Ontario before last year? 🙄
English

@indspeaker @dr_tey There hasn’t been any of that done by students on campus
English

@WatcherAfar @Capricornstew @ColinDMello So you have no examples
Why do you keep dishonestly pretending that an item of clothing traditionally worn in a part of the world for centuries is the same as a political message written on a t-shirt?
English

@AEcho13 @Capricornstew @ColinDMello Spectators entering the legislature gallery were prevented from wearing their Bring them Home shirts a few weeks ago.
Same rule. Political props aren't allowed.
English

@Jaddle @paulrubens @mehdirhasan Stop lying
The ICJ could only make those orders and continue the case under the Genocide Convention IF they found it was plausible that Israel is committing genocide, which the ICJ did find
Israel lost
Here’s the ICJ’s own summary stating so👉 icj-cij.org/node/203454
English

@AEcho13 @paulrubens @mehdirhasan Read the court order. It didn't. And it in no way thought it was plausible that Israel is committing genocide. Your understanding of international law is as useless as your understanding of the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians. Your ignorance is vile
English

Israel, a man-made nation-state, and Judaism, a great religion and ethnicity, are not the same thing. Some of us have spent years trying to make that clear to antisemites who conflate Israel with Judaism.
You’re doing the antisemites’ work for them with this kind of rhetoric.
Daniel Rubenstein@paulrubens
@mehdirhasan You don’t get to call for the dissolution of Israel and also claim to be some sort of ally in the fight against antisemitism. I think you know this, but you’re having too much fun watching Jews try to defend themselves.
English

@WatcherAfar @Capricornstew @ColinDMello Can you cite some examples of when they were disallowed and it was upheld?
English

@Capricornstew @ColinDMello They already are when used as political props. No different than showing up to the legislature wearing a Fuck Trudeau shirt or waving a Fuck Trudeau flag.
English

@rustysteelwool @KenRoth @TRyanGregory Yep. Israel wouldn’t be able to do this without the constant weapons shipments to Israel from the US, in violation of US law
English

Israel's blaming of Palestinian civilian casualties on Hamas's use of "human shields" doesn't explain Israel's repeated use of massive 2,000 pound bombs or its rules of engagement that show little regard for civilian life as shown by World Central Kitchen. bostonglobe.com/2024/04/22/opi…
English

@Jaddle @paulrubens @mehdirhasan Yes, it did
The ICJ could only make the order & continue the case under the Genocide Convention because the ICJ found it plausible that Israel is committing genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza
Stop dishonestly denying reality in support of genocide

@Adamitv @ecomarxi The problem is not with the ICJ, itself. The ICJ has been deciding in favor of Palestinians. The problem is that enforcement of ICJ decisions is done through the Security Council and the US is abusing its veto power at the UNSC to block the UN from enforcing the ICJ’s decisions

English

This is a live Genocide and if the ICJ is unable to act decisively then it’s own credibility is clearly at stake and it’s mode of governance and speed of action has to undergo scrutiny and reform to prevent ongoing Genocide The ICJ needs to act quicker The ICJ needs to be more bold and forceful to stop the unfolding Genocide and War Crimes and ethnic cleansing and flagrant violation of International law which is clearly part of a pattern of Genocide as confirmed by the UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese Formal Notification to the International Court of Justice ( ICJ ) at @cij_icj to take urgent measures to prevent and stop the Genocide.
English

@SenTomCotton Remember when you used to pretend to be America First?
And you’re the ones supporting an ongoing genocide while these protesters are against it
English

For nine years, many liberals have fantasized that Trump is Hitler and their brave “Resistance” proves how they would’ve acted in Germany in the 1930s. In reality, nascent pogroms have broken out across America’s campuses and these very same liberals sit silently or even defend the mobs. Which actually tells you how they would’ve acted in Germany in the 1930s.
English

@DeedleFake @RonJambo4 @SenTomCotton They’re supporting the Palestinians’ right under international law, confirmed by UN resolution, to armed fighting against the illegal occupier, Israel
And saying it’s treason for an American to not support Israel is 🥴
English

@RonJambo4 @SenTomCotton The first amendment doesn't cover explicit support for murder. One could technically make the argument that they are committing treason under the constitutional definition according to article 3, section 3.
