Good thread and this is a great line.
But just to add a little context. Curacao tightened their rules a year or so ago. See: LOK bill.
Anjouan thus become the de facto for the offshore US-facing crew: Coin, Phenom, Jack, BC, Blockchain, HighStakes all licensed there now.

BCPoker is a subsidiary of BC.game, an incredibly shady company which somehow lost their Curacao gaming license, which is the equivalent of being too poorly dressed to be allowed inside Walmart. igamingbusiness.com/strategy/manag… (2/x)

@OldManCawfee @slayabidesd0tl I used to get ice cream where they shot the final scene
English

@slayabidesd0tl My formative years were spent single digit miles from where more than half the scenes take place. Of course I watched it,late ,but eventually watched it.
We still play the show intro when driving by the tool booths of the turnpike. Can't get a ticket anymore though.

@PokerNews 1) That's not cheating
2) 95%+ of people do not know what to do with that extra information unless it's the nut flush card and they have the second nuts

@abelhadohelder @DrillyBeamen @gotnothingforya @Brian_Scally If she can't win, she's not a top 5 strategist
English

@DrillyBeamen @gotnothingforya @Brian_Scally Of course
I still think she is top5 strategist all time, but its a fact she cant win

#Survivor 50 will be remembered as a bad season where Cirie played what might’ve been her best game

Fedor Holz retiring from poker to find meaning because he’s won too much money and he got bored.

What's the most "oh no, my steak too juicy, my lobster too buttery" complaint you see people make?
English

@JoeSalOG @slayabidesd0tl Walking out with the "poker is net negative for society."
English

@slayabidesd0tl Bro “retired “ like 4 times . My man Coleman actually got all the money and truly bounced. Biggest legend of the game of all time in my opinion

@Kevmath @KatieStonePoker @HoldemMedia_Dan @SavagePoker But is it hardware that does 1 of the 4 items? And, if so, how does it do that and any kind of camera (including even your phone which has a camera) not do that? Because that rule says possession, not use or it being above the table or anything like that
English

@AGolds82 @KatieStonePoker @HoldemMedia_Dan @SavagePoker Smart glasses likely falls under a device or hardware.
English

They ARE NOT allowed anywhere that I know of. Sometimes hard to detect and some claim they are prescription which ads another wrinkle.
Katie Stone@KatieStonePoker
@SpaceyFCB @SavagePoker @jeremyausmus @PokerTDA How are smart glasses allowed currently, being that they are cameras?
English

@Kevmath @KatieStonePoker @HoldemMedia_Dan @SavagePoker That to me is more of a rule against RTA software (which has its own questions of if a phone that has that software on it makes someone banned even if they're not using it) than a rule making clear that having glasses that video are banned (or any video at all).
English

@KatieStonePoker @HoldemMedia_Dan @SavagePoker Signage with the above was also posted in multiple areas in the tournament rooms.

English

@HoldemMedia_Dan @SavagePoker @PokerTDA Depends on how large the pay jump is but if you care that somebody is using their timebanks to try to maximize the payjump, I think it gives you a hint.
English

@AGolds82 @SavagePoker @PokerTDA Floor staff know because they are paid to know those very things. Do you really believe hand-for-hand is needed on EVERY pay jump?
🤦♂️
English

This I agree with but many TD’s do not, another discussion for the @PokerTDA Summit.
Josh Heinzl@JoshHeinzl
@SavagePoker @PokerTDA If time banks have restrictions, they're not time banks. Talk some sense into the other tds about this
English

@SavagePoker IMO, at least in the WSOP rules, it is not clear whether you aren't allowed to be wearing them or whether or its just that you can't use them/record
English

@HoldemMedia_Dan @SavagePoker @PokerTDA Who knows how many hands player A and B played before those 2. It's up to the TD to decide when they should be playing play hand for hand
English

@SavagePoker @PokerTDA Player A faces all-in on river, starts using time banks bc next bustout triggers a pay jump.
Player b finishes a hand, a new hand starts, player B busts, THEN Player A calls, is knocked out and ladders up
Tell me how this is in the best interest of the game and the players?
English

@wjpmac @SavagePoker For example, let’s say the player didn’t see 25k chip behind. He calls, flips over his cards. According to the rules, he should get a penalty for exposing his hand early even though he clearly didn’t do it intentionally.
English

@wjpmac @SavagePoker I thought what I said was clear.
Letter of the rules says its a call.
Everybody knows the player's intention, which I think should be more important and used to be how rulings were made to avoid amateurs being taken advantage of and/or not wanting to play ever again.
