Safety is the top priority of the American aerospace industry. AIA appreciates the House's passage of the ALERT Act and looks forward to continuing to collaborate with Congress, the FAA, and industry to advance efforts to enhance aviation safety.

Last year, America’s businesses felt the squeeze when Tax Day rolled around, but, thanks to the restoration of the R&D tax credit in the Working Families Tax Cuts Act, small businesses in the aerospace and defense industrial base today are incentivized to invest in developing the newest technology — delivering for the American warfighter and allowing American manufacturers to remain on the cutting edge.
