@dir_ed raids (media reports) on platforms like AmazonIN and Flipkart are essential to exposing the collusion between OEMs and e-commerce giants. This festival season, brands like Apple, Samsung, IQOO, Motorola, and Poco were offered exclusive smartphone supplies, facilitating black market exports, which can be easily tracked through the IMEIs of @Apple and @Samsung smartphones and sales during festival offers by online companies. Then the aggregators exploit APK links for bulk purchases, misusing 10% bank cashbacks and 18% GST inputs, leading to significant losses for financial institutions and, in turn, the exchequer's revenues. All of this has badly impacted the backbone of the economy, retail, which contributes to the highest employment and genuine cash flows needed to keep the economy alive. The online sales have surpassed all old records compared to 2019, reaching above 70% ($3.2 billion reported by @CounterPointTR) — the highest in any country globally. The burning and misuse of banking resources are fueling the dependent grey economy. We demand stringent laws and hefty penalties to curb these practices.
