Adobe is turning Firefly into something much bigger. The new Firefly AI Assistant, now in public beta, lets you move through an entire creative workflow using conversation. Instead of jumping between apps, you can describe what you want and keep refining it through chat. For example, you could start with a brand idea, choose a name, colour palette, and overall aesthetic, then generate a few logo directions. From there, you can ask for simple changes like repositioning the layout, increasing contrast, or making the design feel more premium. Once the visual identity is ready, the assistant can place it onto product packaging, turn the mockup into an 8-second promotional video, and adapt the final assets for Instagram Stories, TikTok covers, and carousel posts. Everything can also be saved directly to Creative Cloud. This will not replace good creative judgment. You still need taste, point of view and an understanding of what actually connects with people. But it could remove a lot of the repetitive work between having an idea and getting it ready to publish.
