@CyBerJak2k @YuTR0N No. AFC handles it all. On printer boot or when a filament is loaded, it passes it down to where the TD1 is and captures the color and TD data. Then stores it for that lane.

@AJAX_3D @YuTR0N But wouldn't that only report which one is currently feeding. I thought as it preloaded it could recognise which filament it was by it's characteristics for a spool that didn't have the the NFC 😊 yea means using one person lane but....

With this latest beta the full path to use TD1 and TD1s on a Klipper machine is now complete for Klipper machines using Box Turtle! Here is crude drawing of how the flow works. Exciting times!

@CyBerJak2k @YuTR0N Not on a single tool head Klipper printer with a box turtle. One would go after the path of each lane combines. And technically you could even have multiple box turtles. The TD1 would just need to be after they all combine to the single path.

@AJAX_3D I thought those were for measuring transmission distance. I don’t get what use they are in this setup???
