Starmer DESERVES his mandate for 5 years and to be judged only then.
It’s undemocratic to do otherwise.
He planned for 5 years to deliver: the Labour MPs have shafted him.
Stand with Starmer

@BillysBack2@Dougmcg1 I was working for UK projects fabricated in EU for the UK client. The UK no longer has facilities to manufacture large scale projects. I am out of UK as my line of work no longer existed I can only tell you my experience. Brexit was negative for me, that's all I can report.
@AJFitz3@Dougmcg1 You really think if the the country re-joined the EU that would change. The economy in the EU is in the toilet, just like ours. You could get lucky, but you will competing with cheap labour. Sadly all that Britain will be better off in the EU is just pie in the sky.
Had to dive down to Glasgow today for a quick passport.
That burgundy one entitled me to work live and study in 27 countries.
That blue thing doesnt.
Brexiteers and Farage supporters you're fuckwits.
Brexit wins eh. 🏆
The Unite the Kingdom march organisers are spreading hatred and division. They do not reflect the Britain I’m proud of.
Peaceful protest is a fundamental right and one I will always protect. But if protest turns violent, we will act swiftly, with extra court capacity in place.
@JohnMar09699562@Dougmcg1 Ok well on UK fabricated projects the contractual language, believe it or not is English. So not theory. I worked in several EU countries for 8 years until Brexit. Now the agencies only recruit EU workers as its less risk of visa applications and easier to get workers from EU
@AJFitz3@Dougmcg1 Theory again, having worked in the largest mutinationals I can tell you the reality is very few UK workers have the necessary language skills.
When building the eurofighter the ability to move skill sets around was limited by language skills.
@BillysBack2@Dougmcg1 It's not so easy to get a visa. Especially as a contractor. And often projects are run over a few EU countries at the same time. Example parts made in Belgium, Netherlands and Poland, good luck trying to get a visa in that situation.
@Dougmcg1 It is physically impossible to work in 27 different countries at the same time, but you can only work in one with a working visa. I suggest you get off you wining backside and apply for one. There, there then. 🤔
@JohnMar09699562@Dougmcg1 Believe it or not. There are plenty UK projects fabricated in EU and UK workers are not allowed onto them projects. So us UK workers are denied UK projects, forcing EU people to take our place, then send completed project to the UK
@Dougmcg1 You must be really stupid to think you can get a good job in the EU when their economies are in recession, laying people off.
A German employer will choose you instead of a German?
Our economy is, despite Starmer, not in recession like Germany, we are not bankrupt like France.
I’ll always champion peaceful protest. But the Unite the Kingdom march organisers are peddling hatred and division.
We’ve already blocked visas for far-right agitators who want to come here to spew their extremist views.
They don't speak for the decent, fair, respectful Britain I know.
Many of the onshore wind farms along the coasts of the UK and Denmark are falling apart after only 10 years.
A study reveals that energy contributions from wind farms begin to fall sharply after only 10 to 15 years, leaving the skeletons of steel and plastic blowing in the wind.
The economic analysis reveals the lifespan of an onshore turbine is not 20 to 25 years, as stated by the wind industry itself, supported by the UK Government.
This peer reviewed British study reveals that the energy production of onshore wind farms falls substantially as they get older, due to wear and tear. Energy and environmental economist, Professor Gordon Hughes (University of Edinburgh), carried out the statistical analysis of wind farm performance data in the UK and Denmark.
He concluded that load factors, like electricity generated as a percentage of capacity, declined a lot faster than expected, suggesting a baseline 10 to 15 year lifespan. This is when the technical life of most turbines crunch to halt, and become unprofitable to continue. Rising maintenance costs makes them uneconomical.
The study found the average UK wind farm's ability to meet electricity demand had fallen by a third after around 10 years, leading to a conclusion that many are fully uneconomic to run after only 12 years.
While the wind industry generally forecasts a 25-year lifespan, the data reveals a different reality about the viability of keeping them spinning so long. Many companies now 'repower' (replace old turbines with new ones) long before the 25-year target to maximise subsidies and output. This often ends the lifespan of the original hardware much sooner.
The wind farm study is published by the 'Renewable Energy Foundation on the Performance of Wind Farms in the United Kingdom and Denmark, 2012'.
@anon_opin Brexit didnt cause this, the boom in the Polish economy caused it.
Why would they want to stay here when the place is falling apart? Have you ever actually talked to a Pole and asked them why they would leave?
Brexit isnt in the top 50 reasons....
Worse thing about Brexit is all the Polish tradesmen leaving. That period when you could get jobs done well, on time, and for the right price, was the golden age of British home improvement
I will vote for anyone who will let me smoke a £3 packet of cigarettes in a pub whilst drinking £1 pints of lager. And when I say anyone, that's up to and including Hitler, Stalin, Genghis Khan, Dracula, Satan and Skeletor.
I'm bored...what is the best TV series you've EVER watched. I'm not talking about Survivor or Greys Anatomy. I need a show that you couldn't stop watching because it was that good.
Keir Starmer announces he will "block far-right agitators" from travelling to the Uk to Tommy Robinson's rally next Saturday in London.
This is against the very essence of Freedom of Speech? Starmer is now stopping legitimate voices from being heard and speaking out against him.
