@CMaher_ @anon_opin Poland's actually better to live in than the UK now. Probably was back then.
English

@AndyBell_LD @anon_opin This is whats called 'ass backward'.
The people voted for Brexit *because* the country was falling apart, not the other way round.
English

@CMaher_ @anon_opin EU country booms, county leaving EU “falling apart”. Brexit not in top 50 reasons aye.
English

@moving_charlie Generally like your stuff but this suggestion is pretty fkn stupid....

Ignoring all politics and government mistakes worsening affordability, this is an overnight move that would do more to unlock housing market liquidity, and thus economic activity, than any other single step.
Flick of a switch.
Provided it's permanent, not a holiday.
Mel Stride@MelJStride
Far too many young people cannot get on the housing ladder because of stamp duty. A future @Conservatives government will ABOLISH Stamp Duty on primary residences. Free up the housing market, increase supply and boost the economy.

More than 20,000 Ukrainian children have been forcibly transferred and deported by Russia, as documented by international investigators, human rights organisations, and Ukrainian authorities.
Hundreds or even thousands of kilometres away from their homes and families, they are subjected to so-called ‘educational programmes’ designed to erase their Ukrainian identity. Millions more in Ukraine have been deprived of a safe childhood by the brutal Russian invasion.
Russia’s systematic violations of children’s rights cannot go unpunished. Coordinated international action is needed more than ever to trace and return every child home.

@PierceLilholt I cant decide whether you are strange, alienating, compelling, repulsive, engaging or provocative...
Am I alone?
English

@rand_longevity if you are alive in 15 years you are gonna be able to upload your dick and become semi-erect
English

@PierceLilholt Because (presented, given) ignorance demands understanding of others but (presented, given) clarity demands understanding of self.
English

The gaslighting on this is remarkable.
Imagine thinking a statistical engine is conscious!
Where would the consciousness reside? In the code? In the silicon? In the electricity?
Funny though we still use a picture of cogs spinning to represent thought from when we thought the mind worked like a machine.
We also still use the 'lighbulb moment' motif from when we thought the mind worked like electricity.
Nothing new under the sun.....

Richard Dawkins confirms he is very stupid since he believes lines of code = consciousness.

@Megatron_ron So still cheaper than Cola per litre.
Nothing to see here.

@PierceLilholt *This* is why the really big money is being poured into AI.

@Dirkdiggler133 @triggerpod @paleochristcon You dont get to decide who is and who isnt a fake anything.
You have no power or influence over anything and that comes through in your posts. You dont 'give' me a passage to read. Your arrogance is breathtaking.
I'm guessing youre a protestant, right?
English

@CMaher_ @triggerpod @paleochristcon You are legitimately stupid, I gave you the passage to go read to give you context. It's called the sermon on the mount and it's very clear we should love our enemies. You've got so lost in semantics that you don't understand the message. Like I said you're a fake Christian
English

“Christianity was never a ‘be passive and get walked over’ religion.”
Andrew Wilson @paleochristcon pushes back on the idea that Christianity is a pacifist religion. Forgive your enemies, yes, but that doesn’t mean allowing harm to continue. He points to Jesus forgiving on the cross, yet also cleansing the temple and speaking about the sword.
What do you think? Where did the idea that Christianity = passivity actually come from?
English

@Dirkdiggler133 @triggerpod @paleochristcon I understand your shock. You tried to translate the Bible and you got it wrong.
Now answer the question - what does 'Bread' as in 'our daily bread mean'?
You dont know. Thats fine. The problem is that you don know that you dont know; you think you do know.
English

@CMaher_ @triggerpod @paleochristcon Your arrogance is only surpassed by your ignorance, try actually reading the Bible and you'll see how wrong you are. I actually feel embarrassed for you here
English

You have no understanding of the generational translation of 'love'. The process of Greek, to Latin, to English translation loses the original meaning.
You have lost the subtlety, context, emphasis and essential meaning of the original phrase.
The tragedy is you dont even know *that*.
The meaning is not what you think it is.
If you dont believe me, what does 'bread' mean in the phrase 'give us this day our daily bread'?
Research it. You dont know. Nobody does. Its lost to history. But *you* are certain about the translation and context of love?
Youre a fool, but the sad part is; you dont know it.
English

@CMaher_ @triggerpod @paleochristcon It's literally spoon fed to you throughout the Gospels and yet you still don't get it. You're just another fake Christian misquoting scripture, trying to justify the nonsense you make up in your own head.
