I was thrilled when Roseanna Hall from Shurugwi was crowned Miss Universe Zimbabwe on Saturday. It fills me with joy to see someone from my village succeed like this. I celebrated Shurugwi because it's essential to support our own. Now, she will represent our country at the international Miss Universe pageant. I'll actively campaign for her to get the support she needs. People like First Lady Mai Mnangagwa and business leaders like Zodwa and Tagwirei should step in to back her, ensuring her win has a real impact. She deserves a car and a house or stand for her achievement. I have already pledged to give her money because I always lead in giving before requesting from others. Roseanna continues the proud legacy of Shurugwi in producing great leaders and successful persons as she follows in the footsteps of notable figures like Gandire, Marungwe, Herbert Mahlaba, Tagwirei, and President Mnangagwa. We should organize a celebration for her achievement, and I will rally Shurugwi Town Council and other stakeholders to make it happen. While she represents us, we should leverage her influence to benefit both the town and the girl child. Congratulations to all participants; they put in a lot of effort. SaSabhuku, I was excited as it was my first time at a pageant, and to hear that Shurugwi won was incredible. Now makuona kuti hatisi maShurugwi emapanga chete!

@nelsonchamisa @NicolaWatson13 The politics sabbatical may not have been a good idea at the end of the day. It left the sheep 🐑 without a shepherd. There would have been some resistance to CAB3 🙄. Now its chaos.

IT’S DIFFICULT TO TRUST… Considering all that I have been through, it takes tremendous strength, and an abundance of God's grace, to keep trusting people. Politics has taught me that human nature is complex. Too often, people wear masks, say what suits the moment, shift with the wind, and are not always honest. Loyalty can be fleeting, and sincerity can be hard to find. The love of money and power has destroyed many. Yet despite it all, I choose to trust. Not out of naivety, but out of magnanimity, courage, and faith. In a world that often rewards cynicism, remaining open-hearted is no small thing. By God’s grace, #Godisinit I continue to believe in the good that still exists in people…because refusing to trust would mean allowing the bad to contaminate the good. That’s my story! Blessed Sunday.

It was my pleasure to welcome the recently retired Chief Justice, Luke Malaba, to State House today. In recognition of his outstanding service spanning decades, unwavering commitment, and exemplary legal leadership within the Zimbabwean judiciary, I presented him with an agricultural mechanisation package to facilitate his transition into post-retirement life. The package comprises a tractor, a Nissan UD truck, a boom sprayer, and a planter to facilitate his agricultural pursuits. As he retires from the judiciary, I encourage him to leverage his vast expertise in the agricultural sector. Our land is a vital asset, and productivity must persist at all levels. I applaud the retired Chief Justice for his dedication to the nation and wish him every success in his future agricultural ventures.

@GwazeViolet @nelsonchamisa Politics is not just brains 🙄 the likes of Madhuku, Biti, Welshman, in Zimbabwe would have been a million light years ahead in their political achievements.

ZIMBABWE NEEDS A CITIZENS' GOVERNMENT.. There can be no legitimate government without the consent of #WeTheCitizens who are governed. There is nothing so useless as doing efficiently what is fundamentally wrong. CAB3 is the wrong move, a misguided initiative and a selfish national mistake. Far from delivering value, it is an absolute waste of time and resources. Its consequences will be severe and may ultimately consume those who conceived and championed it. #WeTheCitizens reject CAB3, all its flawed processes and choreographed outcomes. This is the new front of the struggle for a New Great Zimbabwe. The future belongs to organized citizens. We organize. We engage. We build. Come, let us reason together. #NewLeaders #WeTheCitizens

If you ever find yourself doubting that the people of Zimbabwe decisively defeated ZANU-PF, listen carefully to Ziyambi’s CAB3 second reading address to Parliament. His words speak for themselves. We defeated them comprehensively and conclusively. And we will defeat them again anytime and anyhow. The matter is settled.

This man, with a dark beard and a pot belly, is Paida Saurombe, a.k.a. Gwede. He is a patriot of conscience, a credit to his mother, and a source of pride to us, his brothers. Time and again, he has stood in defence of the rights of the poor and oppressed, in defence of his motherland, and in defence of what is right. His latest achievement is the release of Madzibaba veShanduko, after a legal tour de force delivered with impeccable gusto. Ladies and gentlemen, please join me in celebrating this married patriot. NB: He is not as handsome as he looks. Any features that tend to make that suggestion are AI generated.

@shuttosib @Am_Blujay No case to answer here for the friends. They will only live with the trauma of watching their friend's last moments. Open water body swimming is very dangerous, hot weather and water temperature could be miles apart, the bottom of the lake tends to be muddy, a sure death trap.

@bla_bidza I guess you also confused your followers along the way. Mnangagwa and his cohort has never been for the country.

A sample of MPs who are going to decide your future. They all look well-fed, drive 4X4 twin-cabs, last time they were paid $40k. As you can see; their personalities and the dressing of that local school Geography teacher; they are nowhere near intelligent enough to stop this power-grab.

@GeorgeCharamba2 George Charamba you have never presented yourself as a honest civil servant but rather as an unelectable politician. Clearly you don't do well in both roles.

@DMwonzora @austinmlamb Only if you had not destroyed the political trajectory of the country Zimbabwe could have made progress in its technological aspirations with plenty jobs on offer but now 'money changers' are leading Zimbabwe's AI portfolio. Zimbabwe regressed because of your selfishness.
