Trust the experts recently got over 7 million people killed, schools closed, asinine rules for masking, distancing, closing businesses none of which did a thing to stop covid deaths. Look at the CDCs own power point on masking. The curves they show for infections don’t have any change after masking was instituted. The upslope and downslope of the infection bell curves were identical yet the experts still pushed masks and had that as “proof”. 6 foot rule..made up. Closing schools…made up, even though Europe was a case study with open schools. Our government didn’t fund studies into any of this. We did stupid “model” studies that always came up with the answers they wanted. Covid vaccine, says lives, model study. Well in a model it really matters what is in the model and how you weigh it. So, trust the experts if you like but I’ll put my trust in real evidence.

I have 5 adult children now. Their rooms are full of toys they either rarely or never played with. Each had 1 or 2 toys they really wanted in their childhood which they remember getting or not getting. That’s it. The rest was filler. Is that filler harmful? To the environment, yes. To a child’s value system, maybe, probably.

We just returned from Germany also. Had a similar experience. Many pro AfD folks, all spoke softly and said things like “MAGA?”. Anti-AfD people, such as tour guides, spoke loudly, were clear AfD was ”openly fascist” and full of “Eastern Germans” who still didn’t know how to live in a democracy and were ”always voting negative”. The lack of introspection in the Anti-AfD crowd is very similar to the lack of introspection in American progressives. When you believe you are on the “right side of history” why would you wonder what the “others” think? It is obvious they don’t and not only do they not care what you believe they stop you from saying it.

We just got home from Germany yesterday. Everyone we talked to was pro AfD and anti current government and Muslim leadership. There is hope as long as Germany votes out the liberals quickly. We had to speak in hushed voices so that no one overheard our opinions about their liberal government. No freedom of speech anymore.

Germany just gave its spy agency new powers to surveil the opposition. That’s not democracy—it’s tyranny in disguise. What is truly extremist is not the popular AfD—which took second in the recent election—but rather the establishment’s deadly open border immigration policies that the AfD opposes. Germany should reverse course.

RFK is causing irreparable damage to our public health system thehill.com/opinion/column… Why does everyone get up in arms about “how” things are happening rather than ”why do we eat petrochemicals”, “why is all of our food GMO”, “why are microplastics everywhere?” Corporate capture of our regulators happened. The only way to fix that is to weed out the captured regulators, ax the things that seem obvious “petrochemical food” and go from there. The best way to improve measles vaccination rates is to actually investigate and report vaccine side effects as well as review the childhood vaccine schedule. Example, there is no logic to every child getting hepatitis B vaccines. Every mother is tested. I would even go along with vaccinating kids of untested mothers but the purely virtuous among us would not believe that was equitable along with the companies that sell the vaccines.

Actual question. I grew up in Illinois. During the ice age it was under a mile high glacier. There isn’t a glacier there now. How did the climate change so dramatically that it is no longer there? What stopped that level of change? Why do we now assume people are the main driver?

We have another fool who thinks he's clever. You fail to realize that a few inches, though small, is quite impactful. No matter the evidence, you ignore it or simply can't grasp big words. So, let's simplify: Data: Oceans already up ~8–9 inches since 1880, and accelerating. The rate doubled since 2006. "Just a few inches" seems minor: One inch amplifies storm-surge damage on flat coastlines. In gentle coastal plains, each inch pushes water 20–30 feet, like in Miami Beach Flood baseline shifts: Four extra inches added ~30% more storm surge damage during Hurricane Sandy, costing NY $2 billion. Current risks: U.S. high-tide flooding now occurs twice as often as in 2000. Norfolk, VA: 80 days exceeding 4 feet above low water, accelerating. Jakarta, Indonesia: 40% of the city is below sea level, sinking up to 6 inches yearly. Indonesia is relocating its capital. Pacific Islands and low-lying nations are building seawalls and facing massive flooding. Cities from Miami to Jakarta are spending real money today because a few inches are all it takes to break the old infrastructure. Rapid acceleration is the concern: 10–20 years could bring significant damage and mass migration. coast.noaa.gov/states/fast-fa… dev-04-drupal-climate.woc.noaa.gov/news-features/… businessinsider.com/jakarta-sinkin… yaleclimateconnections.org/2022/10/how-se…

Which he created and covered up. NIH/EcoHealth/Wuhan created a virus which would have never existed because no selective pressure exists for a furin cleavage site in coronaviruses which infect bats easily without it. Jan 31st he called a meeting with worldwide virologist to occur the next day, Saturday. Christian Anderson and his group thought the virus was created on Friday per his email to Fauci. After the meeting on Saturday creation of the virus was verboten for the next 2 years. This is a crime against humanity.

theguardian.com/commentisfree/… If this is Actually the level of thought in Britain by their “educated“ class the country is lost. Britain has so many problems and so little insight. Wisdom begins with fear of the Lord. A lot of pomposity and very little humility in this article. Example, he tangentially makes the claim that America broke away from England because America wanted slavery and England was interfering. Ummm, New England (America) was anti-slavery which is where the rebellion started. Also, the whole premise is crap since England didn’t outlaw slavery for another 31 years and it continued in English colonies for another 30 after the 1807 ban. Here is the Guardian take on that theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

Let’s be clear: the Department of Education exists because states wouldn’t fund poor schools, wouldn’t protect kids with disabilities, wouldn’t follow civil rights law, especially in the South. Anyone calling to abolish it is calling to turn back the clock—and we can’t let that happen.
Greg Abbott@GregAbbott_TX

At the White House right now. Headed to see President @realDonaldTrump return control of education back to the states—where it belongs.

@DrNeilStone We sent a hospital boat to New York along with a field hospital. Neither were used in spring/summer 2020. Pre-vaccine. No medical sources were overwhelmed. The lack of honesty on the front end warped the entire medical response….and still does.

We are in the midst of the greatest bureaucratic crisis in history or at least since 1992. Interestingly house prices in the DC area did not appreciate more than a few thousand dollars from 1992 to 2001. THEN GWB dropped money from helicopters and it has been on fire since. In 2003 we rented a house in Montgomery village Maryland that was bought for $190,000 in 1991 and was worth $198,000 in 2001. By 2005 it was sold for $505,000. That is all you need to know about government spending:)

Those are dates. Great. Tell me how Ukraine was ever going to win this war? In 1940 all of Ukraine was “Russia”. Who is more motivated to control Ukraine us or Russia?? Biden let China operate the Panama Canal…which is a bigger risk to the US. Reality matters.

Right and the vaccines must be talked about honestly. If you age stratify covid risks/vaccine risks there is an inflection point. The whole idea of ”herd immunity” made the government lie to try to immunize everyone to save the “at risk”. In reality, the at risk were still at risk and the young/healthy were at more risk because they absorbed the vaccine side effects and still had the risk of covid. Every “model” study I reviewed was grossly flawed. There was not scientific interpretation of data only political.

All medical interventions – including Covid-19 vaccines - have side effects. The Covid-19 vaccines did though play an important role in reducing the number of deaths and serious illnesses during the pandemic. But future vaccination policies must be evidence-based, ensuring booster doses are only given when necessary. In contrast to the UK, the USA implemented a much wider Covid-19 vaccination programme after the initial rollout of vaccines in 2021, reflecting differences in the interpretation of evidence on the continued use of Covid-19 vaccines.

I had a similar experience. Covid itself was nothing. I got the OG Wuhan strain before vaccines were out. J&J vaccine hurt my arm, but otherwise nothing. But the mRNA booster hit extremely hard. Massive chest pain. Felt like I got hit by a truck. Almost went to hospital. That said, synthetic mRNA has a lot of potential to cure cancer and other diseases. Research should continue.

I knew the covid vax went from medical to political when the Michigan football team all got vaxed 7 days before their semifinal game, had “non-covid” medical issues and some guys were so sick they didn’t play. This was all risk and no benefit. The vax provides zero effect in 7 days. And no one to this day has said a single thing about how mistaken that was.
