Alaska & Hawaiian MECs hosted pilot events in SEA & HNL to share negotiation updates and hear feedback. Progress has been made but talks have slowed as key issues remain. The union will continue providing opportunities for pilots to connect as negotiations reach a critical stage.

We joined transportation labor unions in urging House Representatives to ensure any legislation, including the ALERT Act, implements the recommendations of the @NTSB's final report on the PSA Flight 5342 midair collision. Read the letter ⤵️

Congress must ensure the final bill reflects the overwhelming bipartisan support for NTSB-recommended ADS-B mandates. The lives of pilots, crews, and the flying public depend on it.

67 lives were lost on January 29 near Washington National Airport. Among them were two of our own. We owe it to them, their loved ones and every crew member and passenger to act.
