Lol... France helped the U.S. win the American Revolutionary War (~$13–15B in modern terms) and a navy at Yorktown. We returned the favor by saving France in WWI, liberating it in WWII (D-Day), and rebuilding it after. Roughly ~$160–180B total. Where do we send the bill for ~$145–165 billion to even it out?
