Traffic violation, a Challan by an ASI of the Punjab Police, and action thereon. @HardeepDimpy, dear brother, I request you to reverse your call regarding the action taken at your behest against an ASI of the Punjab Police who issued a Traffic Challan for your car for illegally displaying a Flicker light atop it. On my part, I want to inform you that placing a flicker light atop a vehicle without authority is not only illegal but also contempt of court, as all these red lights, etc., were removed after very detailed instructions from the Honourable High and Supreme Court of India. If I were an amicus of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, I would have requested a suo motu notice. But let it not be taken to that level. I request you to call the DGP, Punjab, and request the LR promotion of the said ASI so that he can be put in charge of the traffic area. He used the authority vested in him, and you have used your power. Now, please reverse it and let the authority prevail. It would be highly gracious of an MLA. Thanks

Her name is Colonel Sofiya Qureshi. She was born in Vadodara, Gujarat. Her grandfather served in the Indian Army. Her father served in the Indian Army. She was a postgraduate in Biochemistry and had offers from research institutions. She chose the uniform instead. She joined the Indian Army in 1999. Passed on the first attempt. She served in counter insurgency operations in Jammu and Kashmir and the Northeast. She developed the Army’s first mobile digital communication network in 2001. She led Indian peacekeeping contingents in Congo under the United Nations. She was the first woman officer to lead an Indian Army contingent in a multinational military exercise. She was offered positions abroad. She turned them down. On the morning of May 7 2025 she stood at a podium in New Delhi and briefed the world on Operation Sindoor. A Muslim woman in olive green. Calm. Precise. Commanding. She said, “Operation Sindoor was launched to deliver justice to the victims of the terror attack and their families. Nine terrorist camps were targeted and successfully destroyed.” India had just struck deep inside Pakistan. And she was the face India chose to tell the world. She is not an outlier. She is the leading edge. Follow for stories India deserves to remember.
