First of, I of course LOVE the castle repaint. But im so curious on if they plan to paint the bricks too. as you can see, theres been lots of trees and horticulture removed on both sides and are just laying there tarped.

Animal Kingdoms theming is the closest thing we have to the TDS level of quality. Once Tropical Americas opens I think it will solidify that. AK just needs more rides.

This is trippy. I've been enjoying the realistic renderings of unbuilt wonders posted by @Trad_Arch_Bdays . So I used the Gemini image "enhancer" on a basic birdseye drawing I made long ago for a #HongKongDisneyland expansion (find it on Patreon). This was the result.

Love it, but it’s more of an effective backdrop than it is an inspirational centerpiece. Remember the first time you walked up to Spaceship Earth, Tree of Life, or Cinderella Castle? Goosebumps, right? Not that they all have to be that way, but the most effective—and affecting—ones are.

Does a volcano trump a castle? Castles are cool and all, but volcanoes explode, spewing out geysers of fire! Tokyo DisneySea may just have the greatest park icon of all!

When my sister was little she would cry hysterically every time the show ended at Universal… my parents had a to do an endless loop of Barney and Friends show until the park closed lol

You just had to be there, but this show got so much undeserved hate it was absurd. Barney was the butt of every joke and people mocked the I love you song but kids loved him. He was everywhere.

Interesting thing to note here is that the trains seem to either have been replaced or repainted. The passenger cars are a much darker shade of brown compared to the orange brown color they were pre refurb

Big Thunder Mountain testing trains continually today. Mix of trains loaded with water jugs to simulate riders aboard, and empty trains.

This is actually so depressing. Such a cool animatronic we likely won't be able to keep up there constantly because of things like this. It's not anyone's fault, just a thing that has to be. Likely she will be replaced by a static figure I assume.

@DrewDisneyDude If Walt Disney or previous generations of Imagineers used this “perfect formula” we would have never got classics like Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Space Mountain, BTM, IaSW, etc.
