Yes, I am back on the corner again. I have tried to use my deteriorating health as a reason for staying home--but I have been kidding myself. My aches and pains are nothing compared to the suffering, frankly, of most of the people in this terrifying world. So yes, I'm back on the corner with my sign advocating for my immigrant sisters and brothers in particular, but also for all people who suffer under the yoke of poverty and oppression. And this time, I really do intend to be on the street until I am literally physically and mentally unable to go on. Be well.

Easiest way to do that is to update the immigration registry date from 1971.

Update the registry!!

Trump is enforcing the dated immigration laws that have been ignored, to demonstrate how dated they are. It's a precursor to republicans proposing legislation on immigration reform, which is what we need. Trump and the republicans will bring a deal to a table of people who want and need reform.

How about hard working people who have been here for a long time and are in mixed satuses? How about the aged out kids who weren’t eligible for DACA? Having conversations about this is moving in the right direction.

@ChastityElizab2 @Geiger_Capital @elonmusk Hi! So the fact of the matter is that you need a path to acquire legal immigrant (Green Card) or non-immigrant (working visa) status. Under current immigration law, unless you have a USC family member or were the victim of a crime in the US.

The DACA program was created 13 years ago today. It's meant hope and opportunity for many people who came here as children. Since then, that program has been under attack. Congress must work together to find a path to citizenship for these young students. Now more than ever.

@RepMariaSalazar You could update the registry date. The last time it was updated was in 1986. Also, include a waiver false claim to citizenship. That is a draconian policy that is preventing many to adjust their status.

[NEWS] Car dealership websites aren’t measuring up: A new study by Overfuel found that less than 1% of the top 50 dealership group websites passed Google’s Core Web Vitals (CWV) assessment, which measures things like load times. Why so many failures? Bloated website code, under-resourced hosting, oversized media, and overuse of third-party plugins. That sounds bad, but let’s take a step back. According to Google, half of all websites—not just dealerships—struggle with CWV standards. Dealership websites also have extra challenges like high-res vehicle images, chatbots, and other features that slow down performance. And the elephant in the room? Overfuel is a website solutions provider and their study offers just one example of a dealer-client who actually drove more website visits after improving CWV scores. Bottom line: Dealers aren’t passing Google’s standards but more data is needed to clarify what impact that’s having on the actual user experience.
