it was just a comment but it's been in my head all day was gaming with a group tonight and this guy said "you're pretty good for a girl who probably only plays for attention" and everyone laughed and i just muted myself and kept playing but like... i've been playing since i was 12. this is literally the one thing that's mine. the one place where i thought it didn't matter what i looked like or what people assumed about me and one sentence just made me feel like a guest in my own hobby i don't play for attention. i play because it's the only time my brain goes quiet. but i guess that's not obvious when you're a girl with a face cam 🤍 is it always going to be like this or does it get easier?

Oooo can we talk about cool cyber things though that happened in war? @APTease just had this convo with us and a few cyber friends over the weekend We agree that kinetic force is still standard but the usage of cybersecurity attacks to do some pretty incredible things have occurred > Fancy Bear hacked the artillery control systems of Ukraine to cause deviation in their field artillery, vastly reducing their accuracy > Israel reportly hacked the traffic cameras within Iran to setup a long term surveillance system to help identify target movement for months prior to this current war > Azerbaijan vs Armenia war saw the use of sleeper compromised social media and puppet accounts and SMS spoofing to cause a fake panic and have civilians and military evacuate cities so military forces could take over >Sandworm deployed BlackEnergy Malware that disrupted Ukraine's power grid affecting military and civilian operations >NotPetya was deployed and targeted at Ukrainian supply chain companies during Donbass invasion to disrupt resupply and coordination efforts >Iraqi troops used Skygrabber software to intercept and counter united states drones in 2008 (lol $26 software hack btw) >In 2019 Israel actively targeted a cyber operations base that was potentially related to Arid Viper APT activity to disrupt it (Kinetic vs cyber) >Russia used DDoS and similar tactics to directly impact Georgian communications systems at the beginning of the war that impacted their military See I took notes @APTease

@uwu_underground @APTease Russia also deployed a few wipers in advance of their escalation in 2022 trying to disrupt civil and military command in Ukraine. Had Russia been more effective it would have been absolutely catastrophic for Ukraine's ability to move operations over to Lviv from Kyiv.
