The entire Chrissie Mayr stream was an absolute trainwreck. There were so many avenues she could have taken to address the situation, but she chose the worst possible one:
-She starts by saying she was bullied into doing this, shifting blame onto others.
-She dodges accountability and presents sob story excuses to garner sympathy, such as having to raise a child or the loss of her father.
-Once others come on to start asking questions, she gives non-answers or dances around the question.
-Rather than actually apologizing for her own mistakes, she heavily relied on the phrase "I'm sorry you feel that way" to give the illusion of an actual apology.
-When they start pressing her harder, she gets defensive and uses the tone-policing card.
-During Superchat readouts, she selectively picks the ones that made her look good and @BrittanyXVenti
look bad.
During all this, people are calling to let @PPP on. At the end of the stream, she trys to make an excuse about how letting him or @Andywarski on would be a violation of TOS since they are banned, but immediately following the stream, evidence has been revealed that she has no problem with platforming banned creators. She has appeared on FNT with Alex Jones as a guest, and there have been other examples given by people like @MemeCopium
She quickly ends the stream before any of this evidence could be dug up, which I think was intentional as to avoid being cornered and pressed even more about it.
All in all, this was NOT a good look for Chrissie. It will be interesting to see what comes in the future from this regarding her appearance on FNT, but I have a hard time believing they're going to want her on. Not as a form of "cancellation" as some disingenuous people would try to phrase it, but for the same reasons she was not on FNT this last Friday. The chat would devolve into an hours long session of badgering her, and that's not what the show is for.
