We've been meaning to bolster our bookstore for a while now—particularly the Antique, Collectible, & Rare volumes, for like-minded collectors like us who want to expand their antique & original library. These would be perfect for theological & seminary libraries, as well!
A small dent is made with the postings today, but we'll try to add more in the coming days. Let us know if you have any questions!
[These can be found in the Bookstore tab of our website, as well as being listed on the home page itself if you'll scroll down a few.
All bookstore purchases, like most else, go to aiding our APC publication efforts. 📚]

"But what are some of the great truths confirmed by the resurrection of Jesus, and in the belief of which the believer is built up, by this glorious and life-inspiring doctrine?"
1.—"It establishes the Bible to be the revelation of God."
2.—"The resurrection of the Redeemer established the truth of his Godhead."
3.—"The resurrection of Christ was the Father's great deal to the truth of His Son's mission, and the public expression of His entire satisfaction with, and full acceptance of, his atoning work."
4.—"It was also the consummation of his glorious victory."
5.—"The resurrection of Christ from the grave is the spiritual, assured, and eternal life of the Church."
—Octavius Winslow, "The Glory of the Redeemer in His Person and Work."

Happy Easter!
It may be 'high church', but bear with me...
"Law, in short, cannot overcome the world: it can only regulate its course. If men would rise above it they must gaze on Him Who overcame [the world] when He died upon the Cross and rose from the Grave, and Who permits His true servants to lay hold on His pierced Hands, and to share in His glorious victory."
—H.P. Liddon, Canon of St. Paul's; "The Victory of Easter," 1 Jn. 5:4.

“I wish at [my player’s] age, I would’ve gone much deeper into a relationship with Jesus Christ… To me, the most important thing is to God with all my heart, soul, & mind.”

@NUCLRGOLF @golfweek Standing to the side of 6 tee box and being able to see pairings come into 15 and play 16 in front of you is a good spot. To watch on TV, definitely 13 for me.

@MyGolfSpy I'm currently playing my old 975D. What do you think my answer is? 😅
But that sound when it hits the sweet spot. 🤌

@MyGolfSpy USGA says par + 5 strokes is max (not including if a handicap is being factored in; if it is, double bogey + handicap strokes). Please, just move along after +5. I've been there before a time or two... Just walk away. 😅

I used to think a good round meant flushing everything.
After years of trial and error, I promise you, it doesn't
It means:
• Your drives stayed in play
• Misses were manageable
• No insane "hero" shots
Basically…you avoided your blow-ups.
Here's a few quick tips I wish I knew sooner to make better rounds "the norm": buff.ly/0VwYH9F

We lost our "Daddy Pete" from this side of eternity yesterday; by God's grace, I've got even more to go to heaven for now than I did before.
You could just as soon ask hundreds of others and you'll get a resounding confirmation that he was one of the most genuine, loving, and honest men you could have the pleasure to come across in life. He labored greatly for his Savior, his family, his church, and his neighbors. He invested immensely in me, and the many sweet times we spent with each other I pray I'll never forget until we rejoice together in the presence of the Lord.
It is all by the hand of the God that men like him walk this earth, and to have been a grandson of his will forever remain one of my greatest blessings. Grace upon grace! To have a godly grandfather who lived just shy of 95 years is no small mercy, and what a wonderful, selfless, and serving life he led.
🎶 Sons of God, by blest adoption,
View the dread with steady eyes;
What is sown thus in corruption,
Shall in incorruption rise;
What is sown in death's dishonor,
Shall revive in glory's light;
What is sown in this weak manner,
Shall be raised in matchless might.
Earthly cavern, to thy keeping
We commit our [brother's] dust;
Keep it softly, softly sleeping,
Till our Lord demand thy trust.
Sweetly sleep, dear saint, in Jesus;
Thou with us shalt wake from death;
Hold he cannot, though he seize us;
We his power defy by faith.
Jesus, thy rich consolations
To thy mourning people send;
May we all, with faith and patience,
Wait for our approaching end.
Keep from courage, vain or vaunted,
For our change our hearts prepare;
Give us confidence undaunted,
Cheerful hope and godly fear. 🎶
