Door-2-door car hail repair guys are hitting my neighborhood hard. Been to my door 3 times in 7 days. (I never answer.) If they come by again, I'm tempted to ask him what about my 20+ yr old vehicle (with an oil leak) makes him think I care about any hail damage?

I swear everyone responding to my FB marketplace listings doubles as a student...The number of times I've responded to their questions with "it's in the description" is giving me flashbacks to student's failures to read the syllabus.

@young_full_prof Yes! I've had to use google searches too, just to find something on my school's page. The web design and content lacks common sense.

@AProfsLife You work at my school too? I can't find anything on our website. The fastest way to go anywhere on the website is by doing a Google search.

One of the schools I teach at has so "improved" their website with "fancy" things, that I can't find the information I need. There is no place that lists when breaks/holidays/etc are. But, I'm also sure they spent more on the website than they do on us contingent faculty.

When your pharmacy holds your meds hostage because they wanted a fancy new login page. So now, you can't get in your account to get a refill. Thanks @TomThumb_Stores, it's great to know you care...

Note to self: don't order something shipped from @Walmart because they use @FedEx. Last time the order was lost. (Showed up 3 weeks later.) Current order....also missing. *sigh*

It's beyond frustrating when you repeating something a gazillion times throughout the semester. Heavily emphasizing it every time. Yet, still, students completely ignore it on their big project. Disappointing.

Can anyone recommend a SIMPLE whiteboard app that does NOT require internet to work? I need a white screen with colored pens. Simple screen. No Internet requirements.

I ABHOR @Microsoft - with a deep abiding passion. New whiteboard app deleted needed features. I kept old version so, you know, I could actually do what I needed. Now it refused to sync. Then help says signing out & back in will resolve the problem. It won't let me sign in again.

Between all my schooling I took out only 32k in loans. (Lots of working while learning.) After paying on them for 13 years (IBR) I currently owe 42k. The "free" 10k means that after 13yrs I will still owe just what I took out. Calcs say it will still take 86k to pay them off.

So @walgreens advertised prices don't work if you go into the store to, you know, buy stuff. You have to order online and then go to the store to get the advertised price. And that's why I no longer shop at walgreens. Good thing there's always a @CVS on the same corner.

So w/ start of school stuff happening, I forgot to pay my August electricity bill. Meanwhile @ConstellationEG sent me >10 emails for their "reward" program since the missed deadline - but not one email saying "Hey, how 'bout you pay us." Instead they wasted pink paper & a stamp.

Dear Students, When the prof and administration show you a TON of grace - it's usually not a good idea to keep asking for more.

Just received a jury summons...and they won't let me defer it to after the semester. *sigh*
