Right-wing actors can’t stand that Fairfax remains one of the safest large counties in the country because it undermines their political goals. They’ll cherry pick numbers and ignore national trends, but through it all Fairfax remains one of the safest places to live.

Southwest Virginia has deep roots: in community, in culture, in hard work, and in resilience.
