I played a mean harmonica as a younger man. Lost interest in it though. Didn't make much sense any more.

@PapkeGerhard Dafür ist Ungarn das ärmste Land mit höchster Korruption in der EU und bald russische Kolonie. Kriminalitätsindex in Ungarn übrigens 34.. Deutschland 36...

Between January and May 2017, 345 dead infants were found in garbage piles in Pakistan. 99% of them were female. One 4 day old girl had her throat slit before her body was thrown away like trash. This problem has not been addressed. It has not been resolved. And if 345 dead babies - 342 of them girls - were found in five months almost 10 years ago, how many more have been murdered since? This is Islam, ladies and gentlemen. Take a good look. This is what the left is so eager to embrace: hyper-patriarchal, theocratic, misogynistic brutality, masquerading as culture. Maybe it’s time to start asking why.

@ZELLKLUMPEN The freezer in the IVF clinic down the street contains 300 "children"? This is your view? Nonsense. It contains fertilized embryos, and nothing more. "Children" are sentient creatures existing independently in the world, not insentient life developing in a woman's uterus.

Naturally she fails to understand the meaning of Mary Sue entirely. It does not mean "girl character", it means "perfect character who can do anything with no limitations". Luke Skywalker was a half decent pilot with a degree of natural ability with the Force that takes him years to develop. He isn't particularly good at anything else. From the very beginning of The Force Awakens, Rey is an expert pilot, a master martial artist, a top spaceship mechanic, and within five seconds of finding out that the Force exists ascends to the level of Jedi Master. She's also hot, smart, brave, and all the other good things. She needs neither assistance nor instruction. Character growth is unnecessary and impossible. Her only struggle is getting people to admit her natural perfect awesomeness. And even this comes easily to her.
Fandom Pulse@fandompulse

Daisy Ridley says calling her character in Star Wars A Mary Sue is sexist: “The Mary Sue thing in itself is sexist because it’s the name of a woman. Everyone was saying that Luke had the exact same [capabilities]. I think Rey is incredible vulnerable, and nothing she’s doing is for the greater good. She’s just doing what she thinks is the right thing. And she doesn’t want to do some of it, but she feels compelled to do it. So for me, I was just confused.” Is this why modern Star Wars fails because they can't understand criticism?

@martianwyrdlord Luke is incredibly good at absolutely everything he tries for more than 5 minutes. Mark Hamills portrayal just pulls off the “beginners luck” with less grace and in turn he conveys more perceived struggle, but realistically he’s pulling off incredible feats all the same.

🇫🇷🔴A French journalist says there is a shocking pattern of foreigners raping elderly women in France. Just this week, a Moroccan migrant was arrested for raping and torturing a 74-year-old woman in Romainville with a telescopic baton. "She’s raped, a 74-year-old woman, it’s unimaginable. And it happens again and again," said journalist Charlotte d’Ornellas "Our job is to bear witness to reality. And that’s why some people are at war with us, they don’t want us to show this reality. If we don’t talk about it, no one will." Here are 13 terrifying cases that @rmxnews has covered in the past few years – just in France. 🔺93- and 95-year-old women raped in their hospital beds at Victor Dupouy Hospital, Argenteuil, by 44-year-old Samir B. The 93-year-old later died of cardiac arrest. 🔺 78- and 68-year-old hospital patients sexually assaulted at Max-Fourestier Hospital, Nanterre, by 28-year-old Congolese migrant Ali Gandega, who said he was "forced" to rape because he had no girlfriend. 🔺83-year-old woman ("Odette") raped during a daytime burglary in La Penne-sur-Huveaune by an illegal Guinean migrant. Perpetrator sentenced to 12 years. 🔺75-year-old woman raped on New Year's morning during a break-in by an African migrant. 🔺80-year-old woman raped to death in Niort by an Afghan man. 🔺102-year-old nursing home resident in Rouen subjected to attempted rape by 39-year-old Laury Jean-Baptiste from Guadeloupe. She died less than a month later. He received 20 years. 🔺In 2025, a 72-year-old woman assaulted, raped, and robbed inside her own apartment in Paris. 🔺Elderly building caretaker raped at knifepoint in Paris by 24-year-old migrant Mohammed D., sentenced to 9 years. 🔺Elderly woman raped in her Paris apartment after an illegal Algerian migrant offered to help her with her groceries. 🔺67-year-old woman subjected to attempted rape near Gare du Nord, Paris, by a 27-year-old illegal Tunisian migrant. Passersby intervened. 🔺Another victim, also 67, also suffered an attempted rape in the French town of Tours by an intoxicated Sudanese asylum seeker. 🔺Actu 17 news reported how a 21-year-old illegal migrant of unknown nationality was arrested following the sexual assault of a 51-year-old woman as she returned to her home in Avignon. 🔺92-year-old nursing home resident sexually assaulted by Algerian nurse Mohamed D. in Bédarrides. He received 4 years.

@PShamenet @rleist @TheBabylonBee It's not a zero sum game, retard. Both parties can, and obviously do, both benefit. Darwin's law says that success in life is literally one thing. Procreating. That has nothing to do with selfishness. Just nature. You're just an anti-science bigot.

@ARowanHope @rleist @TheBabylonBee Your just proving my point, you tell me why do parents have kids? Imo It so the parents can experience the satisfaction and joy of giving, i.e. for the parents own pleasure which is the definition of selfish.

@RachelBitecofer @SawyerMerritt Reps defunded science? Dems took over universities and destroyed science. Literally less than 50% of science can be replicated. Science doesn't work without ethics and morals, of which Dems have none.

@SawyerMerritt We could unleash American innovation if y’all didn’t vote for Luddite Reps who defund science. Also health insurance is a massive burden on American businesses and for the middle class, we pay 20K a year & have 10K deductibles. It’s crazy people want to keep this system

Seriously? Think about what you just wrote. The child gets literally EVERYTHING that they're ever going to get because of their parents. By definition. Its the opposite of Eastwood's line, "Killing a man is a terrible thing. You take away everything they have and everything they're ever going to have". You are a brainwashed idiot.

US fertility reached 1.57 last year, the lowest ever recorded, and the WSJ explanation is "uncertainty about finances, relationship stability, and the political climate" my great grandma had eleven children during the second world war, in a country being bombed, in a house with no running water, on rations. poor people have always had kids. the poorest people on earth right now still have kids and the financial excuse is a story we tell ourselves because it makes us feel good and the real one is unbearable the real mechanism is that we got rich enough to redefine children as an expense instead of the point. somewhere in the last fifty years the cultural goal inverted and a child stopped being what life is for and became a line item competing with the lifestyle. once you frame it that way the math never works, because the math isnt supposed to work. that's the point we are living in the richest moment in human history and we decided to use the surplus to buy ourselves out of the future. the most prosperous civilization that has ever existed is committing demographic suicide at the altar of personal optimization and comfort, and the official line is that we cant afford it the birthrate is a lagging indicator of a civilization that forgot why it was alive

The boomers have managed to spend their inheritance and the inheritances of the next 2 generations after them because they got convinced that men should just be 'nice' and pull out the credit card. That inheritance is not just financial. The hole is already starting to fill. They need to leave as soon as possible as they're the most embarrassing / satanic generation... maybe ever.

There is a reason people do not debate Flat Earthers or Moon landing deniers. It is not because the evidence is weak. It is because the conversation is rigged from the start. You can bring measurements, physics, engineering, independent tracking, international verification, and experiments they can do in their own backyard, and none of it matters. The moment the facts show up, they shout fake, edited, CGI, conspiracy, or “that’s just your belief.” You cannot debate someone who treats every piece of evidence as invalid by default. You cannot debate someone who demands proof and then rejects the proof the second it appears. You cannot debate someone who thinks their personal disbelief outranks measurable reality. A debate requires both sides to accept evidence. Flat Earth and Moon landing denial collapse the moment evidence enters the room, so the only move left is to deny the room exists. That is why people do not debate them. Not because the globe is fragile, but because the argument they bring is. You cannot have a real discussion with someone who decided ahead of time that nothing you show them will ever count.
