I’m a huge advocate for Christians and really all parents to homeschool. I think it’s best for children all around (minus a few exceptions). I am a Christian, and I have two daughters. Both my daughters attend public school. When my daughters were old enough to go to school I felt so much pressure from the Christian culture to homeschool them. I went to public school and had a really good experience, but everyone was treating public school like it was the devils playground. I tried to homeschool my oldest in preschool and I realized how terribly unequipped I was to teach. I didn’t have the discipline, nor the mental capacity to teach from home. I think public school is great. The teachers are all so intentional, the school counselors are lovely, and their principal remembers their names and things about them. We are very involved parents. We go on field trips, take them to school events, and go to all their conferences. Honestly, public school gets way too much hate.

Another fertility clinic has “lost embryos.” Lost CHILDREN. This is what happens when we manufacture human life, freeze it, and store it in tanks. When babies become inventory, inventory gets mishandled. This is a near weekly offering in my #IVF Google alert. And it's the obvious outcome of a system that treats the smallest humans as objects to be created, selected, traded, stored, and discarded. At some point, we have to stop asking how to make this industry safer and start asking why it exists at all.

@Markins Of course!! My grandma would play this for us on long rides from Florida to New York. Brings back the sweetest memories! I bought the CD for all my nieces and nephews many years ago and now that I have my own kids, we listen to psalty on my phone!

I’m curious, does anyone remember Psalty the Singing Songbook? Kids Praise music for Children’s Church? If so, does this bring back positive or negative memories for you?

I’m sorry if this is an unpopular opinion. Families adopting a child from a young mom, shouldn’t be allowed to wait at the hospital during the birth. They should be notified after, once Mama has had a little time with the child and is able to fully commit to the decision.
