@4thOfJuly365 I think the "Deport them all" attitude is just as bad as opening the border indiscriminately to all. Can't we have balance? Reason? Common sense? For starters, I don't think anyone who was brought here as a child and grew up knowing no other home should be summarily deported.

MSNBC says a majority of Americans don't want all illegals deported. Let's test that out. Can I get a 'Deport them All' from all 50 beautiful states?

Get all your documents together. Passport, birth certificate, marriage certificate, or certificate of divorce. Buy a burner phone and keep it charged. Put all your important numbers in this phone. Get a point of contact who will run interference for you or at least pick up your children or call you a liar. Keep some cash available, full tank of gas, and make sure that your home is secure.

I talk endlessly about systemic injustice, then retreat to my 98% white ZIP code to decompress with restorative yoga and a $17 smoothie. The nearest Black person is on the New York Times opinion page I didn’t read and I like to post about redlining while sitting on inherited property that I pretend I earned. I’m not racist though I just like “good schools” in “quiet neighborhoods” and if you label me a hypocrite, I’ll accuse you of hate speech.

@toobaffled I am forever thankful for a pediatrician who refused my baby daughter's vaccines when she had a fever at her appointment. She also refused to vaccinate when an appointment was made a day before the required time between vaccines. Shortly thereafter, I stopped vaxxing my kids.

@BigDaddyEl3 @thejoeruizjr @elonmusk I doubt our Founding Fathers thought they needed to put it in the constitution that the government should be run efficiently and not waste the people's money. They would have thought it so obvious that it goes without saying. It's the commonest of common sense.

The reason this matters is that a significant number of people who are supposed to be working for the government are doing so little work that they are not checking their email at all! In some cases, we believe non-existent people or the identities of dead people are being used to collect paychecks. In other words, there is outright fraud.

@momtownusa @godlywomanhood I also had a profession that allowed me to work very part-time or PRN, that was well-paid. I was able to homeschool our kids and still have that outlet a few hours a week. And also use it to pull us through some hard times when needed. It was the best of both worlds.

@godlywomanhood I wonder if there are exceptions to this. I actually feel like time away from family, the SAHM grind, makes me a better mother and wife. And my career enables me to work part time for very good pay, which is of massive benefit to my family.

Putting one’s children into daycare because being in the workforce is easier for you than raising them will only make your life far worse! Stop with the gentle parenting nonsense and actually train and discipline your children to obey you! This requires you being with them full time. Our children were a delight to raise.

The best way to understand the system is that it is designed for complaint minimization: people don’t complain if they receive money, but do complain loudly (especially fraudsters!) if they don’t receive money. Therefore, everything is geared towards sending out the money, even if wasteful or fraudulent.

To be clear, what the @DOGE team and @USTreasury have jointly agreed makes sense is the following: - Require that all outgoing government payments have a payment categorization code, which is necessary in order to pass financial audits. This is frequently left blank, making audits almost impossible. - All payments must also include a rationale for the payment in the comment field, which is currently left blank. Importantly, we are not yet applying ANY judgment to this rationale, but simply requiring that SOME attempt be made to explain the payment more than NOTHING! - The DO-NOT-PAY list of entities known to be fraudulent or people who are dead or are probable fronts for terrorist organizations or do not match Congressional appropriations must actually be implemented and not ignored. Also, it can currently take up to a year to get on this list, which is far too long. This list should be updated at least weekly, if not daily. The above super obvious and necessary changes are being implemented by existing, long-time career government employees, not anyone from @DOGE. It is ridiculous that these changes didn’t exist already! Yesterday, I was told that there are currently over $100B/year of entitlements payments to individuals with no SSN or even a temporary ID number. If accurate, this is extremely suspicious. When I asked if anyone at Treasury had a rough guess for what percentage of that number is unequivocal and obvious fraud, the consensus in the room was about half, so $50B/year or $1B/week!! This is utterly insane and must be addressed immediately.
