This might be the most calm we've ever seen Maul be. In TCW he's either having a fit of rage or you can tell he's wired, going into manic speeches and such. I wonder if it's because all the chaos that has happened puts him more at ease, anxious person during crisis style

Right after her death, hes literally in shock calling out "mom?" but in the following scenes after, he keeps snapping out of those moments of grief, downplaying it, and going straight into leadership and planning.

I dont think Titus actually HATES his mom. It feels more like a coping pattern from what ive noticed. Throughout the movie, he shows emotion first, then immediately shuts it down and replaces it with laughter and control.
