At the urging of my amazing partner and leaning on God’s strength when I find no more of my own, I dug through and found more songs I never finished or have never shown anybody. I’ll be reworking these and adding them to my live-streaming as I continue to honor my promise to my lady and to myself to make my art for anyone who wants to listen as part of my ongoing physical therapy for as long as I can. I’m also getting back into the habit of writing brand new material, and I’m setting the goal of writing at least 3-5 songs / week to be added to my livestreams as well for testing / seeing how the feel and feedback as an ongoing project. Yes, I feel mediocre. I always will. Yes, I am past my prime, and I don’t look the part. Yes, I am not flashy and don’t have the fanciest equipment. Yes, there are literally millions of both instrumental and vocal prodigies in the world that people can go listen to. Yes, I’ll never ‘make it big’, and likely never have lots of people know or want to know any of my songs, scripts or shows. Yes, I have had several massive medical issues that have precluded me from potentially being whatever I could have been. That is what it is. But I am still alive. I don’t know how, sometimes, and I don’t know why most days anymore. But I am. And what I have always been is an artist. So I will continue to sit at my piano, I will continue to write, arrange, play and sing my songs as part of my daily existence and efforts to find some way back to what I used to call living, and anyone, as long as they are decent human beings are more than welcome to join me anytime to listen in, to share some time and their own stories, to make requests or just to chill out for a bit. Or, people can just mute / block me and move on. It’s really simple. Thank you God for the strength and kindness of the woman I share my life with, for the innocent love of the dogs at my feet who think everything I do is gold, for the true friends who have shown they know who I really am, and for everyone everywhere who ever gives artists the chance to bare their souls to them.

Most people picture MDMA therapy as a capsule, a long afternoon on a couch, and a therapist taking notes for six hours. That picture is already outdated. In the underground facilitation scene in Austin, which has quietly become the epicenter of psychedelic work in the US, a different protocol is taking hold. Instead of swallowing the medicine and waiting, facilitators are administering MDMA intramuscularly, a small injection into the shoulder or buttocks, the same route used for B12 or testosterone. With oral MDMA, onset can take up to 45 minutes. You dose, you wait, you wonder if it's working, and somewhere in that window the medicine finally arrives. IM changes that. The experience begins to unfold in just 5 to 10 minutes. And there's something else worth naming: it appears to be much softer on the nervous system. None of the jittery, teeth-clenching come-up that oral MDMA is known for. You slip into the experience without the turbulence, which matters enormously for people who are already carrying trauma into the room. Sessions run 3 to 4 hours instead of 6, long enough for real work, short enough that integration doesn't get pushed into the middle of the night. Dosing runs at about 80% of the oral dose. If your standard oral dose is 120 mg, you'd start IM around 100 mg, with the option of a 60 to 80 mg booster about an hour in. A serious caveat: source quality is non-negotiable here. You are putting a substance directly into muscle tissue, bypassing every filter your gut would normally provide. Adulterants, incorrect dosing, or sloppy preparation carry consequences that oral simply does not. This is not a protocol for the curious or the casual. It belongs in the hands of experienced facilitators working with verified material, full stop. None of this is FDA-approved. It's happening in private homes, run by facilitators who've decided the oral protocol MAPS/Lykos spent two decades pushing through the FDA isn't actually the optimal way to do this work. What does it say about the field that the most interesting innovations in MDMA therapy are happening entirely outside the regulatory pathway that was supposed to legitimize it?

In the end, my life will end up being defined by the medical disasters that kept me from being physically able to reach my potential. I had a massive hand injury with lifetime loss of feeling, power and the ability for fast movements in my left hand just as I was getting ready to graduate with my Master’s in music (as a pianist no less) and start my career, and then after battling that for so many years, redefining myself as a teacher / composer / writer / director and finally starting to get somewhere with my own songs, lyrics, scripts and scores the pandemic happened which destroyed my business and then led to me getting the COVID vaccine that ruined my body via bodywide neuropathies / muscle wasting and destroyed whatever remains of my life forever. I don’t know how to deal with all I lost and the incredible pain of never being able to realize what I could have been. For twenty years since my first injury, I already wanted a do-over on life. And then even more was stolen from me. I pray to God every hour of every day for some measure of strength to somehow endure this unendurable loss and the agony that comes with never being able to be what my every cell cries out to be simply due to physical limitations that are entirely out of my control. I could have been…. but the chance was taken away from me. The story of my life.

Most people don't even know this exists yet. This homeowner gets his drinking water straight from the air. No well. No rain. No pipes. And that's just the start — the WaterCube 100 produces 120+ gallons a day. WaterCube Technologies by Genesis Systems has a solution for every scale and is also used by commercial industries and the US military. Named one of Time Magazine's Best Inventions.

This conversation on The HighWire will blow your mind. @edclayofficial told @delbigtree how his mother became severely ill with rheumatoid arthritis and conventional medicine ran out of answers. So he started searching for alternatives. That search led him to a hospital in Mexico that had once offered immune-stimulating therapies. By the time he found it, the hospital had already shut down. Most people would have walked away. Clay and two partners did the opposite. They bought the hospital, rehired the original staff, moved in for six months to rebuild it, and reopened it to treat patients who had run out of options. Their first patient was his mother. “We brought my mom down there in a wheelchair. Three weeks later, she was walking again.” Today, patients from around the world travel there seeking regenerative therapies largely unavailable in the United States. It may not seem like much, but the ability to align another person's hips and cranial bones from thousands of miles away in two seconds instantly breaks our fundamental assumptions about physics, medicine, psychology, philosophy and human identity. I'm happy to demonstrate this.
