@pepfessions It’s seems like GLPs are proof we as Americans or as a country were mostly just simply over eating. Numbers for obesity/overweight prescriptions specifically: ~587% increase from 2019 to 2024

did door to door for like 6 years. selling junk nobody asked for, doors shut in my face all day. then I got into reta myself, lost a bunch of weight, and it clicked one afternoon eating lunch in a mcdonald's parking lot, the customers are all right here, why am I knocking on doors. so now that's what I do. fast food places, walmart, wherever. I find the biggest person there and I just talk to them. real talk, not a pitch. they always end up telling me how they've tried everything and nothing works, and that's when I mention what reta did for me. couple weeks later they're messaging me to reorder. $55k so far selling GLP-1s out of a cooler in my trunk. and yeah I know how it sounds

I'm a doctor. a patient handed me a list of seven peptides he's running and asked me to check his bloodwork against them. I recognized two. I nodded like I knew the rest and looked them up in the bathroom between appointments. that was the moment I understood my patients aren't asking my permission anymore, they're informing me of decisions already made. ten years of training and I'm now the guy googling in the bathroom so a 34-year-old doesn't realize his physician has been lapped.

Going to say the thing nobody on this app will: I ran BPC and TB-500 for 90 days and felt absolutely nothing. not better, not worse, nothing. and before anyone says bad gear, I switched vendors halfway through specifically to rule that out. same result. zero. everyone posts these miracle recoveries and I'm sitting here 3 months.. and a few hundred dollars deep with sore injection sites and no story to tell. Either I'm the one body it doesn't work on or a lot of you are feeling something that isn't there. Placebo is real for some peopl. I can't be the only one???

@peptidepirate It’s a trip how many don’t know the benefits of taking TUDCA especially those who had Cholecystectomy surgery(gall bladder removal) even adding Betaine HCL with Pepsin digestive enzymes that would benefit those on GLP1s so much and taking a brisk walk 10 mins after meals

The Reta series pt.7🏆🏴‍☠️🏆🏴‍☠️🏆🏴‍☠️🏆🏴‍☠️ ——————————————————— You may wanna bookmark this one‼️‼️ Bile acid disruption ☣️☣️ This is one of the most overlooked issues on Reta or any GLP and it sits underneath several of the problems we have already covered in this series🏴‍☠️ Bile acids are not just for digestion they are signaling molecules that regulate cholesterol metabolism fat soluble vitamin absorption gut microbiome composition and even glucose handling🏴‍☠️ When bile acid flow gets disrupted multiple downstream systems start to fail at the same time🏴‍☠️ Here is why this happens🏴‍☠️ Reta slows gastric emptying which reduces the natural release of CCK the hormone that triggers your gallbladder to contract and release bile🏴‍☠️ Without regular contractions bile becomes concentrated and stagnant in the gallbladder🏴‍☠️ Reduced food intake means fewer meals triggering bile release which compounds the stagnation🏴‍☠️ Rapid fat loss mobilizes cholesterol from fat tissue which the liver dumps into bile increasing the supersaturation that drives gallstone formation🏴‍☠️ Four pathways all working against your bile acid system at the same time🏴‍☠️ The symptoms hit quietly🏴‍☠️ Upper right abdominal discomfort especially after fatty meals🏴‍☠️ Pale or clay colored stools that signal reduced bile flow🏴‍☠️ Bloating that does not match what you ate🏴‍☠️ Poor absorption of fat soluble vitamins A D E and K even when supplementing🏴‍☠️ Itchy skin or unexplained skin issues from bile acid buildup🏴‍☠️ Cholesterol numbers shifting in unexpected ways on bloodwork🏴‍☠️ Increased food sensitivities especially to fatty or rich foods🏴‍☠️ These are not Reta side effects🏴‍☠️ These are bile acid side effects from running Reta without supporting your hepatobiliary system🏴‍☠️ The bloodwork to track🏴‍☠️ Liver enzymes ALT AST and GGT will often elevate before symptoms appear🏴‍☠️ Alkaline phosphatase rising can signal bile flow obstruction🏴‍☠️ Total bilirubin trending up suggests reduced bile clearance🏴‍☠️ A lipid panel showing unexpected cholesterol changes especially LDL spikes can reflect bile acid disruption🏴‍☠️ Ultrasound is the imaging gold standard if you have persistent right upper quadrant symptoms🏴‍☠️ The fix🩹🏴‍☠️ TUDCA 500 to 1000mg daily supports bile flow and protects the liver from the bile acid stasis🏴‍☠️ Ox bile or digestive bitters before fatty meals helps trigger gallbladder contractions🏴‍☠️ Adequate fat intake actually matters do not go ultra low fat because the gallbladder needs fat stimulus to contract🏴‍☠️ Vitamin C 1 to 2g daily helps prevent cholesterol crystallization in bile🏴‍☠️ Phosphatidylcholine 1 to 2g daily supports bile composition and reduces gallstone risk🏴‍☠️ Coffee in moderation stimulates bile flow naturally🏴‍☠️ Stay hydrated because dehydration compounds bile stagnation significantly🏴‍☠️ Do not let bile acid disruption be the reason your gallbladder your liver and your fat soluble vitamin status all degrade quietly🏴‍☠️ 🧬🔬

@mannyjplays Not myself, I know of two who have and both have said it helped avoid hard side effects. I’ve heard splitting the doses and compared and explained for comparison to splitting TRT doses weekly to avoid peaks and crash effects and it makes sense aside from compound differences .🤔

📈 Reta Update: Moved from 5mg to 6mg this week I’ve been at 5mg for the last 3 weeks, and over the past week I noticed the appetite suppression starting to fade. The food noise wasn’t completely back, but I found myself thinking about snacks more often and having more urges to eat between meals. I wasn’t bingeing or overeating, but I want to stay ahead of those cravings rather than wait for them to become a bigger issue. At 210 lbs with a goal weight of 170 lbs, I still have a significant amount of body fat to lose, so I believe I can continue benefiting from a gradual dose increase. As always, I’m focusing on using retatrutide as a tool alongside good nutrition, adequate protein, and staying active. Looking forward to seeing how 6mg feels over the next few weeks. 💪

Reta series Pt.6🏆🏴‍☠️🏆🏴‍☠️🏆🏴‍☠️🏆🏴‍☠️🏆🏴‍☠️ ——————————————————— The vitamin D problem on Reta💊💊 Research shows GLP users face a 40 percent higher risk of vitamin D deficiency compared to people not on these medications🏴‍☠️ Here is why this happens🏴‍☠️ Vitamin D is fat soluble which means you need dietary fat to absorb it properly and most GLP users are eating less fat at lower overall food volume🏴‍☠️ Slowed gastric emptying reduces the time vitamin D spends in contact with bile salts and digestive enzymes which compromises absorption further🏴‍☠️ Rapid weight loss mobilizes vitamin D stored in fat tissue but if dietary intake is inadequate that pool gets depleted faster than it gets replenished🏴‍☠️ Most adults are already deficient before starting a GLP roughly 40 percent of Americans fall below the optimal range🏴‍☠️ Four pathways stacking against your vitamin D status at the same time🏴‍☠️ The symptoms hit quietly🏴‍☠️ Fatigue that does not match your sleep quality🏴‍☠️ Mood drops out of no where 🏴‍☠️ Frequent illness or slow recovery from minor infections🏴‍☠️ Bone aches especially in your hips lower back or shins🏴‍☠️ Muscle weakness that does not match your training output🏴‍☠️ Hair shedding that started or worsened after beginning Reta🏴‍☠️ Brain fog and reduced cognitive sharpness🏴‍☠️ These are not Reta side effects🏴‍☠️ These are vitamin D side effects from running Reta without supporting your fat soluble vitamin status🏴‍☠️ The bloodwork to track🏴‍☠️ 25 hydroxyvitamin D is the marker not regular vitamin D🏴‍☠️ Optimal range is 50 to 80 ng per mL not just above the deficiency cutoff of 30🏴‍☠️ Draw labs every 3-6 months when running a GLP because levels can shift faster than baseline I do every 3 months 🏴‍☠️ If you are dropping faster than expected check magnesium and vitamin K2 because both are required for vitamin D activation and utilization🏴‍☠️ The fix🏴‍☠️🩹 5000 IU vitamin D3 daily as the standard maintenance dose for most adults running a GLP🏴‍☠️ Always paired with K2 specifically MK7 form at 100 to 200mcg because K2 directs calcium to your bones instead of your arteries🏴‍☠️ Take with the largest fat containing meal of the day for proper absorption🏴‍☠️ Magnesium glycinate before bed because vitamin D activation requires adequate magnesium status🏴‍☠️ Real food sources salmon mackerel egg yolks and vitamin D fortified dairy when possible🏴‍☠️ Sunlight exposure 15 to 20 minutes midday on uncovered skin when seasonally available🏴‍☠️ Do not let a deficient fat soluble vitamin be the reason your energy mood immunity and bone health degrade quietly🏴‍☠️ 🧬🔬

The Reta vs Tirzepatide Showdown ⚔️ Tirzepatide “GLP-2” 2️⃣ Mechanism: Dual agonist - Mimics GLP-1 + GIP receptors. Slows digestion, crushes appetite, improves insulin sensitivity, stabilizes blood sugar. Proven powerhouse for weight loss + controlling of cravings. Pros: 😊 • FDA-approved & widely available now • Strong real-world results (~15-22% body weight loss) • Excellent for blood sugar control • Insurance coverage more common • Predictable, long-term data Cons:🙃 • GI side effects (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, destruction of appetite) • Weight loss plateaus for some • Inability to get proper nutrition and protein intake. Who it’s right for 🫵 • Works excellent for people who need to lose large amounts of weight >40lbs • Great if you need reliable blood sugar help + solid weight loss with proven safety, since its already FDA approved. • Solid choice for anyone with true “food noise” issues who NEED to change their habits. • Great for long term usage if GI side effects are controlled. • Can be micro-dosed to improve overall metabolic health without side effects. Retatrutide (Reta) “GLP-3” 3️⃣ Triple agonist - Mimics GLP-1 + GIP + Glucagon receptors. Reta does everything Tirzepatide does + the added affect of boosting energy expenditure & fat burning via glucagon. NOTE: Reta works less on the GLP-1 receptor so it doesn’t crush your appetite as much as Tirzepatide. Pros: 😊 • Potentially superior weight loss (up to ~24-28% in trials) • May burn more fat & improve metabolism stronger • Exciting for stubborn cases • Less appetite suppression Cons:🙃 • Not FDA approved yet (still in trials) • Less long-term safety data • Resting Heart Rate increase may lead to lack of recovery and sleep issues Which one is right for you? ⁉️ Choose Tirzepatide if you want something proven, available, and effective today. Good for long term use if you don’t like the RHR changes with Reta. Excellent for appetite suppression and cancelling food noise. Choose Retatrutide if you want to optimize your diet (without crushing appetite) while reaching for higher fitness levels. This is ultimately the best choice if you are not concerned about the RHR changes. Has anyone ran both, and can give us insight on your experience. Drop em below 👇

The dark side of Reta 🏆💩🏆💩🏆💩🏆💩 ——————————————————— The constipation💩🏆💩🏆💩🏆💩🏆💩 For me it started around week 4 and peaked between week 8 and 10🏴‍☠️ This is not uncommon for GLP use the drug literally slows the gut down🏴‍☠️ Here is why it actually happens🏴‍☠️ GLPs slow gastric emptying by 40 to 50 percent which means food moves through your entire digestive tract slower🏴‍☠️ Reduced food volume means less bulk to trigger normal bowel movements🏴‍☠️ Less water intake on a GLP because thirst signaling shifts too🏴‍☠️ Reduced fiber intake when overall food volume drops🏴‍☠️ Slower transit time also means your body reabsorbs more water from the stool making it harder to pass(this is a massive reason it occurs)🏴‍☠️ Four pathways stacking against your gut at the same time🏴‍☠️ And it is not just uncomfortable it cascades and can compound🏴‍☠️ When food sits too long your body reabsorbs toxins your liver was trying to clear🏴‍☠️ Gut bacteria shift toward less helpful strains🏴‍☠️ Bile acid recycling gets disrupted which messes with cholesterol and hormone clearance🏴‍☠️ Inflammation in the gut wall climbs quietly🏴‍☠️ The symptoms hit quietly🏴‍☠️ Bloating that does not go away🏴‍☠️ Bowel movements every other day instead of daily🏴‍☠️ Skin breaking out for no obvious reason🏴‍☠️ Mood drops you cannot explain🏴‍☠️ Midnight stomach cramps 🏴‍☠️ These are not Reta side effects🏴‍☠️ These are gut side effects from running Reta without supporting your motility🏴‍☠️ The fix🩹🏴‍☠️🩹🏴‍☠️🩹🏴‍☠️🩹🏴‍☠️🩹🏴‍☠️🩹🏴‍☠️🩹 ——————————————————— 2 to 3 liters of water daily🏴‍☠️ TUDCA for bile flow support🏴‍☠️ 20-25 grams of fiber from real food psyllium husk or ground flax🏴‍☠️ If taking fiber sups spread throughout the day🏴‍☠️ Magnesium citrate 200 to 400mg at night🏴‍☠️ Walk 20 to 30 minutes after meals to activate peristalsis🏴‍☠️ Probiotics if you have been backed up for weeks🏴‍☠️ Do not let a constipation cascade be the reason your bloodwork bile acids and overall Reta experience suffers 🏴‍☠️ 🧬🔬
