Today, our delegation met @CEOWestBengal and registered a strong objection regarding the repeated and highly suspicious disruptions in CCTV surveillance at multiple strong rooms where polled EVMs and VVPATs are stored. This is a direct and deliberate violation of @ECISVEEP own guidelines, which clearly mandate 24×7 uninterrupted CCTV surveillance with continuous recording and access for authorised party representatives. We have made strong demands to: 👉 Immediately compile a complete report of all instances of CCTV malfunction, disruption, or downtime across every strong room in the state. 👉 Provide full, unedited CCTV recordings along with detailed logs showing all periods of interruption. 👉 Restore all CCTV systems to full, uninterrupted functionality with real-time monitoring and accountability for every lapse. 👉 Ensure continuous and unrestricted access to the surveillance feed for authorised representatives as per ECI protocols. Any attempt to tamper with the mandate of the people through technical sabotage will not be tolerated.

We had predicted it, and now it has happened. Within days of the second phase of polling in Bengal, @BJP4India has mercilessly hiked the price of 19 kg commercial LPG cylinders by a massive ₹993 across the country. They have also increased the price of LPG used for autos by another ₹6.44 per litre. This is nothing short of a catastrophe for small businesses, poor and vulnerable workers, auto drivers, office-goers and regular commuters. During the entire election campaign, Narendra Modi and his entire Cabinet lied to the people with straight faces. They deliberately delayed these price hikes to create a false sense of complacency and avoid public anger during voting. Now that the elections are over, the Mehngai Man Modi has stabbed the common people of this country in the back once again. An absolute disgrace of a Prime Minister! And this is only the first blow. Once the results are announced, BJP will come after the price of domestic LPG cylinders as well. People will not forget this treachery.

Our media-savvy @CEOWestBengal, Mr. Manoj Kumar Agarwal, should prioritise his constitutional mandate over late-night press conferences. While he is busy managing optics, @BJP4India has been caught on CCTV attempting to forcefully breach sealed ballot boxes at the Netaji Indoor Stadium strongroom, without a single party stakeholder present. This is an attempt to loot democracy, actively facilitated by the Election Commission’s criminal negligence. Does the Chief Electoral Officer really expect us to remain silent while Smt. @MamataOfficial takes proactive steps to defend the people's mandate? Make no mistake, this is Bengal. We are not Bihar, Maharashtra, or Delhi. We will not play along with your subversion. Every action will have an equal and opposite reaction. Guard the vote, or face the consequences.

Smt. @MamataOfficial has issued a high-alert to all Trinamool Congress counting agents to be vigilant and be fearless. We have already witnessed @BJP4India and @ECISVEEP's disregard for protocol, opening ballot boxes at the Netaji Indoor Stadium strongroom without the presence of party stakeholders. Central Forces under Amit Shah have become BJP’s PRIVATE ARMY- A gang of licensed thugs unleashed on the people of Bengal. In Udaynarayanpur, an elderly man went to cast his vote with his son. Too frail to walk unaided, his son tried to help him into the booth. Central Forces pushed and manhandled both. The old man collapsed, was rushed to Amta Hospital and declared dead on arrival. Since dawn, these Central Forces have been terrorising ordinary citizens- slapping women, assaulting the elderly, attacking even children. This is the SITALKUCHI MENTALITY of 2021: cold-blooded, merciless violence against unarmed civilians. BJP paid a heavy price for the blood of innocents in 2021.
