@TheRightSideO11 @Arizona_LP Its theft when the government takes a cut because they maintain roads and infrastructure used by these bussiness but I'm a cry baby libtard when I say my boss shouldn't get to take 90% of the wealth I generate for the company.

@ZeilZulu @Arizona_LP If my boss gets to take a big cut off my wages because he owns the company why doesnt the government get to take a cut of his companies because they control the land the commerce is done in? If this is theft than my boss making 300k while I make 50k is too

@Ancaptain12 @Arizona_LP How does giving kids lunch make their families poorer? And don't say supply and demand, this isn't creating any additional demand that would not exist if they bought their own food. The only way to reduce this so called inflation tax is to reduce purchases of food...

The funny thing is, even if we all agree to steal money to fund lunch, it's still not the cheapest or best way to feed the poor. The poor have already paid via the inflation tax more than any amount of lunch would ever cost them. Progressives hide behind the emotional blackmail of "you dont think poor kids should eat!?", when they are in fact what has caused them to be poor. You have to reject the framing entirely. Progressives want policies that keep kids poor while destroying their families, so they can steal more of your money, debase your currency, and then declare that they are moral because a few crums make it down to poor people.

@misshapenident1 @ScottRoberts Wow is that retarded. There's nothing moral about saying a larger grain harvest is the best or good outcome. These words are not intrinsically tied to morality you mouth breather.

@misshapenident1 @ScottRoberts No I described it as what benefits society on a macro level. It's not about good, its about the principles that have historically produced the best collective result for a group of people living in community.

If there is no God, there is no objective morality. There is only preference. Your preference against murder is no more valid than a murderer's preference for it. Atheism cannot answer the "why" of morality. Only God can.

@Rohnek_Kdosi @Clarity2Context @ThePholosopherX You do not understand what rights are lol Rights are given to you. They are a reprieve from the oppression of government. Thats why we have a bill or rights, nothing is assumed to be a right unless specifically granted by daddy government. Thats why its "We the people" dipshit

@CommonW99 @stepfanie Because people being born "better" than anyone else is antithetical to a free society at its core. Some people are free but some are more free than others is not acceptable.

@A_Trashcan @stepfanie Uh huh. And why is there anything wrong with using the advantages you’re born with to help people do things they otherwise wouldn’t be able to? That’s before we even discuss why you think ‘dead grandpa’ ‘s labour doesn’t count for anything for some reason

@A_Trashcan @stepfanie I started a painting and decorating business 30 years ago; I had zero not even a van and cycled to work up to 12 miles, had materials delivered and ladders couriered. I earn 3x average income, never have to pitch against another because all work in reputation driven, Can be done.

@SirBensalot @stepfanie Your assumption that every skill is easily scalable to a small bussiness is preposterous. How does a pilot start their own airline? Once again capitalists insist people not born with wealth be relegated to scraps.

As per usual socialists can't argue against this point without strawmanning to hell the whole thing. Millions of small businesses start every year. The idea you need to be able to self fund a multinational billion dollar corporation today or else the means of production is being held away from you and there's nothing you can do is just socialist cope to avoid do anything about their current situation. And that's why socialists just want to steal wealth from owners because they have no desire or skill for building their own wealth.

@Rohnek_Kdosi @Clarity2Context @ThePholosopherX So you agree that without threat of force your rights would be trampled? You're forcing me into a system where I don't get to steal from you. I feel it's my right to steal from you. Who are you to say it's not?

@A_Trashcan @Clarity2Context @ThePholosopherX Except what I'm doing is defending my rights. What you want to do is force me into a system where my rights are dependent on whether the majority agrees I have them. As such, democracy is inherently anti-freedom

@OwlZphi @ScottRoberts The rationalizing of that natural collectivism is morality. The reason its only possible in humans is because we're the only thing capable of reflecting on that collectivism.

@A_Trashcan @ScottRoberts That’s kinda correct, but it’s no *morality* though: it’s just the self-serving rationality of individuals in a collective setting. Even blind replicators “discovered” cooperation like that, a mathematical inevitability. And that’s enough. No morality, objective or otherwise.
