According to the above para, the amount towards additional farmers’ compensation is required to be brought in by the SRA and it is nowhere envisaged that the same is to be paid out of the existing bank balance/funds of Jaypee Infratech Limited. We respectfully request the concerned authorities to kindly ensure strict adherence to the approved framework and protect the existing funds meant for construction and completion of pending homes. In the Joint Lenders’ Forum meeting dated 8 March 2017, chaired by the then MD & CEO, it was recorded that out of the net sales value of approximately ₹16,325 crore generated from Wish Town, around ₹3,862 crore collected from homebuyers was utilised towards the construction of the YEW. This clearly shows that homebuyers’ funds were diverted towards the expressway while around 15,000 homes still remain incomplete. Despite this, the concessionaire is now seeking enhancement of toll charges citing the Concessionaire Agreement. Authorities must take into account the grave injustice suffered by homebuyers before considering any toll revision. I feel utmost grief in announcing the sad demise of my ex co-News anchor at Doordarshan, Sarala Maheshwari 🙏 She was the embodiment of grace and courtesy. Beautiful not just in appearance but even more so at heart, she had a remarkable command over language and was a reservoir of knowledge. Her presence on the Doordarshan screen had a unique aura. Our grievance has already been placed before the @IBBIlive through the @PMOIndia , yet we have not received any response. The details are attached for your kind reference. We earnestly request a face-to-face interaction with the concerned authorities. A human interaction is essential, as only then can the real hardship of homebuyers be understood and addressed. Homebuyers of #jaypeeinfratech taken over by the SRA @SurakshaGroup_ under the Resolution Plan continue to suffer despite years of waiting. There is no proper #supervision of the #implementation, which has allowed the SRA to act at its own discretion, ignoring the interests of buyers. We sincerely appeal for your understanding and intervention. The admission of JIL into the #NCLT process in 2017 effectively shut the doors on any genuine reconciliation or resolution. Even after the takeover by the @SurakshaGroup_ construction progress remains stalled. Instead of fulfilling their obligations, the group appears to be diverting funds and prioritizing their own interests—imposing compound interest on buyers, charging exorbitant transfer fees, withholding crucial information, and more. The list of grievances continues to grow. What’s most alarming is the complete absence of a strong, statutory monitoring mechanism to ensure proper implementation of the resolution plan.
