@Peggy9424831104 @Jvnior But Trump says we should move on... So we should just do that.
English

@williamsjeff1 You're saying With or Without You, Bloody Sunday, Beautiful Day, etc aren't good songs?
English

@narrow_road_2 @rabbriansamuel My point is there are several scriptures in "Old Testament" books (esp the prophets) that are not about the Old (Mosaic) Covenant of the Law. The are introducing and exploring the New Covenant of grace hundreds of years before Jesus the Messiah came.
English

@AaronSmithuscr @rabbriansamuel Aaron, I'm not sure what you're asking. There is the Old Covenant of the Law and the New Covenant of grace. There are the Old Testament books and the New Testament books.
English

For the record, I hate using the phrase “Old Testament” to describe the books from Genesis through Malachi. I use it only for ease of reading.
The apostles never would have applied that term to the entirety of God’s Word.
In Paul's letter, “old covenant” refers specifically to the conditions of the Mosaic covenant, not to the totality of previously written Scripture.
There’s nothing ever old about the Word of God; it is eternal.
English

@narrow_road_2 @rabbriansamuel Is that fair to call those passages the Old Testament (for example Isa 54-55; Jer 31; Eze 36-37; etc)?
English

@narrow_road_2 @rabbriansamuel But what about all the reference of New Covenant in the Old Testament?
English

@rabbriansamuel When we need to go to Isa 54-55, Jer. 31, Eze 36-37, some preacher should begin by saying... "now let's see what the New Testament has to say about this".
English

@ivpress I need a book like this for this current season in ministry.

Suffering challenges our ordinary ways of understanding the world and our place in it—our “meaning system,” a kind of operating manual for life.
You had a set of assumptions about how things work, guidelines you lived by, a story you told yourself about the world. Then circumstances hit you with something that didn’t fit that story at all.
To navigate suffering, we must begin rebuilding, sifting through the pieces of our devastated lives to rebuild our sense of meaning. We must figure out, again, in light of our new circumstances, what life is about, who we are, and what our place in the world is.

@WolfofX I've done a few crazy transports myself and.. Believe me, it's planned.
English

@drantbradley @cboyack Your posters are always missing the point with a detail that's not central to the argument. Example: Trump isn't impersonating Jesus.. He might as well look like a random Greek god.
I mean, it's cute but come on...
English

@drantbradley @cboyack A lot of your posts and comments lately try to be overly novel. You're a super smart dude, but tend to over complicate things. It stinks that grads can't get hired in this job market, that's it!
English

@williamsjeff1 You're wrong. Franklin Graham says Trump is a Christian so it's settled.
English

@scheidj @JohnRWoodJr Why? This could easily be the greek god Lenus.
English

Can someone help with this? I was raised in the black church, so is this a re-imaging of a famous painting or something? It’s silly but I’m trying to see how it’s “blasphemous.” Is there an original painting this is based on? Help! Haha!

Trump shares image depicting himself as Jesus Christ.
English

@drantbradley Another irony: you seem to be against taxpayer supported schooling and community colleges, but Glover financed all of his education at all levels hrough taxpayer money.
Why aren't other minorities deserving of opportunity?
English

Irony: many who are praising him now in conservatives circles are the same people who said, very recently, that if they walked on a plane and saw that he was the pilot, they'd be nervous to fly and might walk off the plane assuming he was DEI pilot. Feel free to link them below.

“I hope we glorified God, humanity.” Back on Earth, Artemis II astronaut Victor Glover posts a heartwarming photo with his family—celebrating the mission by highlighting his faith in God and the people who made the expedition possible.
English

@NussbaumWallace @conor64 @megbasham @RobGeorge Part of the problem is we act like there were only two options. But how many GOP candidates pass the basic moral test? There were much better choices.
English

@conor64 @megbasham @RobGeorge i've never been a trump supporter but this is way overheated
you gotta choose between the blasphemous meme poster and the woman whose 2024 convention had a free abortions van outside
and you think the meme guy is obviously worse to a devout christian?
English

I don’t know if the President thought he was being funny or if he is under the influence of some substance or what possible explanation he could have for this OUTRAGEOUS blasphemy. But he needs to take this down immediately and ask for forgiveness from the American people and then from God.

JUST IN: 🇺🇸 President Trump posts image portraying himself as Jesus Christ.
English

@drantbradley @NorCal_Trojan It's waaay better for more money to go to billionaires than to support public schooling or community colleges... Because that's socialism!
English

@NorCal_Trojan It’s not “free.” Public school is also not “free.” Where does the money come from the pay teacher’s salaries in a public school. You actually think public schools are free? Really?
English

I’ll fix this: “Janet Mills just signed a law coercing taxpayers in Maine pay the tuition for students attending community college in Maine.”
Democrats Deliver@DemzDeliver
🚨 HUGE: Janet Mills just signed a law making community college permanently free in Maine.

@AnthonyRayGray @daneortlund The post is talking about qualities of the devil. Are you saying the devil’s gay?
