@jtimsuggs That is in an atmosphere.... do you understand physics or combustion? Fires in space need oxygen.... or they are plasma which can look similar to a fire. It is the fourth state of matter.

@Dr_Zuo @JezCorden @tomwarren Sure it’s not has big as it was in 2007 but Halo still is a successful franchise that is high on the most played games list on Xbox. Many people still play Infinite and MCC all the time. It’s definitely a flagship IP and defines the Xbox brand.

@JezCorden @tomwarren I think that no one has been playing this series for a long time and it is no longer a "flagship", so multiplatform can revive it.

@Generalkidd Putting the flagship IP on other systems feels like a bad move for the Xbox brand. Also I’d much rather get a remaster of H3.

I'm not opposed to Halo being on Playstation. The more players the better and maybe this could help spark interest in MCC again to get bugs fixed and features added. But another remaster of CE is an odd choice considering there's other Halo games that haven't been remastered yet.

@JezCorden Why cover old ground (especially when there’s already a remaster of CE) when many people have already said they liked Infinite and there’s been high demand for campaign dlc or a new game? A new game seems like the most obvious choice.

@choochoolfc @JezCorden Ideally I wish exclusivity wasn’t a thing so games were more accessible but that’s not the reality of console gaming. It’s why Xbox can’t give Halo.

@Aaron_Skyguy @JezCorden I know but it's a shame, it would be nice to have a variety of "exclusives" added to each console even if it's just 1 of them get a taster then you know where to go if you want the sequel

@JezCorden @tomwarren If Halo goes then Xbox consoles are done for. There’s no doubt about that in my mind which is why I hope this doesn’t happen. Halo is still a successful franchise. The games still do well and while the show could’ve started much better the 2nd season gained traction.

@JezCorden @Dr_Zuo @tomwarren Regardless of what people think of the show the games have been doing fine. Infinite is still one of the most played games on the Xbox consoles.

@DMC_Ryan Also putting the flagship IP of the Xbox console on the competition doesn’t really help their brand either. I can’t tell what their plan is. Makes it difficult to want to continue to invest.

A remaster of Halo: CE seems WILD to me. I just don't get why you'd do this. It's already been remastered once (very well!), & why would PlayStation fans care about a 25-year-old game? If Microsoft is really considering this, why not just port Halo: MCC? ign.com/articles/micro…

@JezCorden I personally think it's a good move to take Halo over to playstation, increase in revenue, and player interest. It would be nice to see if PlayStation would reciprocate this and either put Helldivers 2 over or even the God of War series.
