@Angry_Staffer other doctors if someone else comes along exhibiting the same conditions & symptoms he did. We staggered down that road alone and lost my husband because it was too late when they finally figured it out. Keeping another family from that heartache. That’s why.

Rough #CancerUpdate news: Sunday we nearly due Victoria due to low be bp and sepsis. It was devastating. We were all here plus a priest for her. They worked worked hard and she is alive and could speak briefly at 6am. TG. Lots o f great docs and nurses. She has been though so much. Such a warrior. We need her. Even the docs asked to pray fo her. So many tubes in her. Pretty intense. #cancersucks

#CancerUpdate: The Wife's Bestie here. Victoria was moved to ICU with a dangerously low BP and an infection. She's endured a series of very painful procedures, but can't get pain meds due to her low BP. She asked for prayers and healing thoughts. Thank you.

I planted two tiny lilac bushes 10 years ago. They are now 16 feet tall and have produced hundreds of flowers and my entire house and yard smells like lilac right now.

@TheRealHoarse He died a few days after I posted this but we got that last week w/ him as himself. He died at home knowing who we were, that we loved him & he loved us, not as a confused, scared & angry patient in a hospital. It was a gift I will treasure forever.

@TheRealHoarse My husband (who is terminally ill) was in rapid mental status decline & admitting to the hospital. We were discussing hospice w/the palliative care team. A neurologist on duty noted his medication list, took him off 1 med, he slept for almost 48 hours & came back to us. He still

@EliMcCann Hint…it also works with sick puppies. My favorite video is of my late husband (6 foot four, scary looking guy with tattoos, complete gentle giant) doing “here comes the airplane” after one of our senior hospice foster dogs had to have his teeth pulled & wouldn’t eat.

@emilykmay My husband and I were like that. We each thought we got the better end of the marital bargain (I did, he was the best). He died last July and I miss him every second of every day.

I remember talking to a woman who was probably in her 60s about love and relationships right after I graduated college, and she said to me, "I am married to a good man. I know he loves me. But man, my sister's husband? Like.....he LOVES LOVES her" and it's haunted me ever since.
