@SandeepMall Wife and I last went on a long weekend road trip to Chikmagalur, back in 2022. It took us almost 3 hours just to exit Bangalore. Finding a decent hotel room was another nightmare. Not even counting the hours spent in traffic in the hills. Never again.

Warli, like all other Indian art forms, is great. But because of its minimal skill requirement, you find it as a facade of so many public walls in Ahmedabad. First, I am grateful that we see art and not pan masala art on the walls. But, more art forms would be amazing for the heritage city reputation.

When your whole life has been about being competent, it is liberating to do something where expectations are zero Just finished a wonderful scribble session on drawing trees. Each tree is on your screen for exactly 5 minutes. It is up to you what you can capture in that time It sounds like something that cannot be done in any great shape so you just let go - scrambling for paper, watercolors, pens, colour pencils, markers etc according to whatever comes on screen...An hour went by just like that. @tapasgiri93 @priteshlakhani Get a float valve installed in the tank, it's barely 100 rupees in retail. The moment your filtered water tank gets filled, the switch in the valve cuts off the supply.

@priteshlakhani I took the same advice from reddit and installed local one in home. Branded one has sensor which stop filtering after certain amount of water, with local it doesn't have that.

Unpopular opinion, once you have lived in Northern India. You can live anywhere in the world. I mean it anywhere. You have extreme cold in India, just saw a video on how the temperature dipped to -1 in some parts of Gurgaon. I stayed for good 2 weeks in Europe where the warmest days were 1 or 2 degree and average temperature around -10 with feels like -17. Homes have heaters, so people live like it's summer no layers in home. They drink Cold drinks and cold water. The biggest challenge there is black ice, the ugly side of snow. If you can just learn to ace it, you have now triumphed the cold 😅

@ShivamSouravJha I've been using a private cab operator in BLR and never had any issues. With aggregators you're literally bhagwan bharose. The price swings are also wild. Get a reliable offline cab at a reasonable price. Aggregators are not worth the pain when there's a flight involved.

So folks here is a new scam going in Bengaluru by our beloved cab drivers when going to airport(with girls specially) 1. They stop vehicle midway citing no fuel and ask you to pay at petrol pump saying 1100 is shown I would need only 1000.

Thankfully, someone is doing their job. I called on these helpline numbers (had to try multiple times) but someone just came in and changed the pillow covers. Off to bed finally.
