Name a track/race car that can drive you to your track day and has lap records? My @UnpluggedTesla Tesla Model 3 Performance can!
I ❤️ FSD

Gas in California 😱 Kinda makes you want to go electric…

@SDembraski That’s pretty interesting. Do you know if the Nav was routing through the car wash also? I’m wondering if the nav improves a lot then maybe this situation will be really rare.
English

Tonight I used FSD to leave a parking lot.
It exited correctly but accidentally turned into a car wash entrance, thinking it was the exit.
It literally had nowhere to go because the car wash was closed.
For some people, if this happened to them, they would get mad and say, “FSD is trash—it can’t even leave a parking lot correctly.”
They would disengage, turn around, leave, and talk about how much of a regression the software is.
Note: This was on FSD 14.3.3.
For me, my first thought was: Okay, how many times have we ourselves taken a wrong turn by accident and needed to turn around? Maybe we misread a road sign, maybe we were talking to someone and not paying attention, or maybe we were on our phone and made a mistake. Yet we give ourselves a pass. We just turn around and don’t think anything of it.
So I thought, Let’s see what FSD does.
Well, it took a few tries, but it nicely turned around and found the correct exit all on its own. I didn’t do anything. It didn’t phone home to Tesla or need anyone to correct it.
My point is that so many people discredit how good FSD really is because they want to highlight the mistakes.
I think it’s more important to recognize how well it can safely address those mistakes and find a solution on its own.

@briandstone @LucidMotors Nice! How would you compare Gravity sound system to Cybertruck? Many say Cybertruck is the best.
English

Tint makes everything better. XPEL heat blocking ceramic tint was installed yesterday! I've driven my @LucidMotors Gravity 3500 miles and have loved every minute of it.
Some of my favorite things are the massaging seats and Surreal Sound Pro sound system, the best sound system I've ever experienced in a vehicle. Fit and finish are also top notch - zero interior rattles or misalignments. Road noise is almost nonexistent.
Every time I make a post about the Gravity I always get "but the software!" replies due to bad reporting that has been amplified. I have had zero software-related issues.

We left Horseshoe Bay Terminal in Vancouver. BC 4 days & 21 hours ago, and now have ended in Halifax, NS at the Tesla Showroom
(3,760miles/6,051km)
This was accomplished with Tesla FSD v14.3.3 with absolutely 0 disengagements of any kind even for all parking including at Tesla Superchargers.
