We ask General @mkainerugaba to amend the land law so that the government owns all land. This will allow proper planning for the country because individual land ownership hinders development. The government should take over the land, build estates for low, middle and high income earners, designate places for housing, industries and schools benchmarked from top global education systems like china equipped with skills that help our children. This will create large areas for commercial farming as the backbone of Uganda.. Right now people are scattered, making it impossible to cultivate even one square mile of land

Today, I chaired the final Cabinet meeting of the outgoing government and later hosted members to a luncheon in appreciation of their dedicated service to our country. This is the Cabinet that ushered Uganda into middle-income status, and I thank everyone who contributed to this achievement, including the Cabinet Secretariat for effectively managing the business of cabinet. 🤣 bobi wine and his social media interns have blocked me for offering genial criticism and calling out his disappointing leadership. @hebobiwine’s level of intolerance toward dissent and diversity of opinions is dangerous & undermines the very democratic values he claims to fight for. freedom of thought cannot be selective. you can’t demand it from the nrm regime and suppress it within your own ranks. i will not be gagged. i am not on social media to flatter politicians. politicians are not above criticism unless the goal is to manufacture a baby dictator within nup or the opposition. bobi wine and his petulant social media handlers should know that freedom of speech also protects speech you don’t like. you can’t gag or muzzle anyone. you’re doing exactly what despot museveni is doing! let people speak! some of us will not walk on eggshells because of bobi wine or despot museveni. we shall always speak our free minds.
