@frankdilo It should be take home assignments more than ever. AI assisted coding is the standard, have them show you their thinking process when it comes to building. Clueless vibe coders will generate a messy slop, and actual engineers will explain to you a thorough process.

@theo one can argue when exactly to use put/delete/patch/get/post but those are non negotiable: 5xx: server can't even 4xx: it's the clients fault 3xx: read your nginx config again 2xx: it's done

At this point anyone refusing to join the AI assisted coding trend will eventually be left behind. When it comes to building any product even if not 100% accurate, AI is king. Projects that would take months are now done in a week. CompSci is not dead, but programming def changed
