BREAKING: Major layoffs today at Seattle's Bonneville owned radio stations. At least seven people have been let go at KTTH 770 AM and Kiro Newsradio including hosts Bryan Suits and Shari Elliker. More cuts could be on the way. The ownership group did not give a specific reason, but traditional news advertising models are being undercut and decimated by social media upstarts and video driven platforms. Meanwhile, we now have fewer members of the media in Seattle to hold our elected officials accountable. Not a good day for American journalism.

Plumes of white smoke have reportedly been observed rising from the desert area above the Idaho National Laboratory or (INL), where nuclear energy tests are conducted, as per a report. The cause of this white smoke is not yet known, there are no reports of unusual activity at the 890-square-mile site. It's located in a remote area about 45 miles west of Idaho Falls near Arco. The INL is one of 17 national labs run by the Department of Energy, focusing on nuclear research, renewable energy, and security solutions. Since its start, the site has had 52 nuclear reactors built.

@rawsalerts As a former Navy nuke who understands the potential for small amounts of material to produce massive amounts of clean energy, reports like this are EXACTLY why nuclear power causes fear among the ignorant, yet the electric car crap seems viable to those same uneducated.

🚨#UPDATE: The Idaho National Lab has officially confirmed that there was no emergency at the site. This confirmation comes in response to reports showing white plumes of smoke or steam rising from the chimney stacks from the site. The INL and the Fire Department have issued a statement to reassure the public, explicitly stating that there is currently no fire on the site. Furthermore explained that this occurrence is entirely normal; it's a natural part of the reactor's operation, as it generates steam as part of its regular processes.
