Hargreaves Lansdown being down and unable to operate on a Friday morning during market hours is an absolute disgrace. The so called “scheduled maintenance” should surely take place on a weekend when markets are closed. Unless there’s something you’re not telling us… @HLInvest

@IHateSoccerPod This is true for all levels and ages! I've witnessed firsthand an U9 team winning multiple tournaments while individually none of them were note worthy. Their team culture made the big difference and elevated their level tremendously.

A lot of coaches need to realize that culture develops better players than curriculums do.

What mediates the ‘if’? What skews the ‘if’ in your favour? Mindset Leadership Teamwork Three factors that get the most out of the technical, tactical, and physical components of the game. Three factors that are embedded into all three components. That word ‘if’ - let it stay with you awhile…and as you ponder its significance think about how you turn the ‘if’ in your favour… Mindset - do you have a competitive mindset framework that helps your players high perform consistently under pressure? Do you? Do you have a framework that helps players pay attention and stay connected to the game no matter who they’re playing, where they’re playing? When they’re playing? Do you have a framework that helps players compete with an optimal mental intensity and a behavioural intent so high they cannot help but compete with conviction. Do you? Leadership - do you have a leadership framework that helps your chosen leaders lead? Do you? To lead via action…to lead via confidence-building…to lead via energy-enhancement…to lead via solutions (instructions). Do you? Teamwork - do you have a teamwork framework that helps players to follow each other and to follow you, their coach? Do you? Do you have great followers - players humble enough to work together without ego - a collective. Do you? Let me force feed you a little here. You skew the ‘if’ in your favour by having frameworks that act as shared mental models across players, coaches, and staff. You skew the ‘if’ in your favour by having frameworks related to competing, to learning, to engagement, to leadership, to teamwork. You skew the ‘if’ in your favour by working on these frameworks daily…together…in an uncompromising fashion. Great coaches skew the ‘if’ in their favour by being great coaches.
