No way! Israel, who clearly is not aligned with the operational objectives of the United States and instead wants a “failed state” and the total destruction of Iran, supports strikes against Iranian power plants which will ultimately result in the suffering of the Iranian people as well as mass attacks against, not Israel, but energy and desalination infrastructure in the Gulf States. Unfortunately, Iran did not know this, or any of the pertinent facts pertaining to the South Pars attack, and unjustifiably and unfairly attacked a portion of Qatar’s LNG Gas facility. NO MORE ATTACKS WILL BE MADE BY ISRAEL pertaining to this extremely important and valuable South Pars Field unless Iran unwisely decides to attack a very innocent, in this case, Qatar - In which instance the United States of America, with or without the help or consent of Israel, will massively blow up the entirety of the South Pars Gas Field at an amount of strength and power that Iran has never seen or witnessed before. I do not want to authorize this level of violence and destruction because of the long term implications that it will have on the future of Iran, but if Qatar’s LNG is again attacked, I will not hesitate to do so

What we are seeing is not just escalation, but escalation rooted in misreading the opponent. There is also a deeper dynamic at play meaning even pressure that weakens the regime can strengthen it internally. It allows Tehran to frame the conflict not as one against the regime, but against the Iranian state and its people — reinforcing domestic cohesion even at the cost of hardship, including disruptions to electricity or household gas. This is precisely why underestimating Iran’s resilience and strategic behavior is so dangerous. Once again, the gap in understanding — both in Israel and in the United States risks prolonging the war and, paradoxically, stabilizing the very regime it seeks to weaken. What is most concerning is the absence of a coherent strategy. Instead, this appears to be a campaign driven by urgency and pressure — a race to achieve objectives before political constraints, particularly from Washington, bring the fighting to a halt. #iran
