🚨🆕 The current tendency is that Nicolas #Jackson will leave FC Bayern in the summer. Bayern’s bosses and Vincent Kompany are satisfied with his performances and professionalism. However, an end in the summer is planned, and there are currently no talks over a second loan/permanent deal. Jackson has plenty of interest and will first return to Chelsea. @SkySportDE 🇸🇳

Here comes the food inflation Costs for food companies jumped 7.9% yoy in March (vs. 4.2% in Feb.) This is basically just from higher fuel costs - we're still waiting for the impact of higher fertilizer, plastics, etc. From the Odd Lots newsletter: bloomberg.com/news/newslette…

Is the USMNT good? No. But are the players likable? Also no. But do they at least seem like they care? Also no! But the tickets are 2,000 dollars and the head coach will yell at you if you don’t buy them

@georgeachillea Yeah, this makes an awful lot of sense and feels like something Spurs should go after almost no matter what. Parrott knows how to find the back of the net. Not many at the club right now who do.

Tbh if the worst happens and we do go down, I don’t think this would be a bad move… The pool of strikers we could go after significantly decreases and I’m expecting both Solanke and Richy to go in that scenario We’ll most likely have to sign 2 anyway alongside a winger or promote someone like Dane/Lankshear/Melia etc

🇮🇪 Troy Parrott would return to #thfc a club he loved, regardless of their top flight status. The young striker was always desperate to be a success for Spurs and distance has not changed that. @AlasdairGold

Troy Parrott's incredible season got even better yesterday. Spurs could do a lot worse than bringing him home for a bargain using that clause. He would return, even if they went down. football.london/tottenham-hots…

the mentality it’s taken kinsky to bounce back after that brutal atlético performance is inspiring, and here he is still stepping up to console his teammate after a mistake. so much respect for him.

Since yesterday’s fixture against Brighton, which took place during the Premier League’s No Room For Racism weekend, Kevin Danso has been, and continues to be, subject to significant and abhorrent racist abuse on social media. There is no place for racism at Tottenham Hotspur. There is no place for racism in football. Read our statement: thfc.pro/4sIGXdY

Thomas Frank not being sacked after Chelsea, is why we’ll be relegated. Mind you, the only injuries at this point were Kulu, Maddison and Solanke. No red cards, no massive injury list, just a PE teacher cosplaying as a PL manager.

Yesterday just shows how utterly inept it was to hire Thomas Frank and Igor Tudor. The first time we’ve played like a Tottenham side all season but it’s probably too late. Lange and Vinai should not be allowed to step foot inside the stadium

Even if Vicario is fit next week, I'd play Antonin Kinsky vs Wolves. His presence on the ball is just too good. Players aren't afraid to give him the ball. I feel totally safe when the ball goes back to him, whether it's a short pass or a long kick. He's also very underrated at claiming balls at set pieces, incredibly brave. Always gets a hand on the ball & never flaps like Vicario. He Isn't afraid to get stuck in & I actually think his shot stopping is improving. That Welbeck header was a great stop, did well to not force a rebound out of that. His character for a young goalkeeper is top class aswell. That Atletico Madrid moment would have swallowed up so many goalkeepers careers at the top level. Just look at Karius, that Real Madrid game single handedly ended his career as a number one. For Kinsky to bounce back with two very solid performances in a moment where the club is in crisis, that shouldn't go unnoticed in my opinion.

15 minutes doesn't reflect your ability as a goalkeeper, especially for a 22 year old debutant in the Champions League away to a massive club. I've always rated Antonin Kinsky & I still do. I'm still confident he'll have a successful career, whether it be at Tottenham or elsewhere. More importantly he's got the right people around him in moments like this, his father was also a goalkeeper (& a good one at that). He more than anyone else will know what to say & how to comfort his son as he's likely been there, maybe not to that extent but he definitely would've faced some difficult moments in his career. Spurs' goalkeeping coach Fabian Otte has already come out showing his support for Kinsky, as has David De Gea. Words from people as important as them will be a million times more valuable than someone on twitter with 500 followers looking to take the piss.

Wish I could enjoy Maddison returning from his ACL injury, or Xavi finding form, or Archie Gray’s development, or the fact that we have Vuskovic waiting in the wings, but all I can think about is relegation. Genuinely can’t believe this is our reality
