Polygyny Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen, may Allah have mercy upon him, said: Polygyny in this time is more needed than in previous times, due to the large number of women, the abundance of fitan, and women’s need for someone to preserve their chastity. Many scholars held the view that polygyny is better than remaining with only one wife. Sharh Hilyat Talib al-Ilm, p. 315

[🚨 Clarification and Retraction] I want to publicly apologize to brother @Alhaqqan90 for having attacked him by crossing his face over the issue of Sleight of Hand in a post earlier, or having questioned his Salafiyyah. Feel free to retweet this, as the original post gained many views. The main reason for my mistake and confusion was due to an article that I came across by a trustworthy brother, who quoted Shaykh Ibn Baz Rahimahullah on Illusionary Magic being Kufr Akbar, and the brother explicitly mentioned many times in his video explanation that even the magic that involves no Shayateen whatsoever is still regarded as Kufr Akbar. Although it appears that the brother was mistaken, and what Shaykh Ibn Baz meant was the illusionary magic that still involves the Shayateen and Jinn, by bewitching the eyes of the spectators. In Sha Allah I will inform that brother about this mistake, so this article can be edited and further confusion can be avoided. But of course, I don't in any way blame that brother for my mistake, as it's entirely my own fault for not doing a deep search into this affair myself, before posting a refutation like this. Secondly, after listening to many audios of Shaykh Salih Al Fawzan Hafidhahullah on illusionary magic like the one performed in the circus being Kufr Akbar, it has become clear that the Shaykh is talking about القمرة, and when the Shaykh was asked about the meaning of Al-Qumrah, he explained that it means to bewitch the eyes of the spectators by the help of Shayateen. Video link: youtu.be/p8KzaHNADpg Lastly, I want to say that after having watched many videos of Ahlul Ilm on the ruling on Sleight of Hand, it appears that the majority of them highly condemn it, and declare it to be from deceit and trickery, something that resembles magic, and how it can lead to real magic or believing in the abilities of such performers (for the spectators), and hence it is prohibited. So I advice the brother Al-Haqqan to not post the fatwa for the general public with a general statement that "Ahlul Ilm did not say that it is haram", since your platform reaches millions and how it can open the door to so many evils. JazakAllahu Khaira

Funny, why didn’t you quote the last statement of the Sheikh? He concluded by saying: “Then she should also observe another matter, which is that she herself should be an example of chastity, proper hijab, and righteous conduct, and she should avoid displaying her adornment (tabarruj) and mixing with men, which is prohibited, so that her call to Allah is made both through her words and through her actions by staying away from everything Allah has forbidden.” Anyone with a shred of knowledge will know that the Sheikh means dawah between women and NOT in public with/for men. Leading Salafi scholar Abd al-Aziz ibn Baz said: “A woman, like a man, has her duty in calling to Allah, enjoining good and forbidding evil. The evidences from the Qur’an and Sunnah apply generally to everyone except where a specific proof makes an exception. The statements of the scholars are also clear on this. Among the Qur’anic evidences is the saying of Allah: ‘The believing men and believing women are allies of one another. They enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong’ [Surah al-Tawbah 9:71], and His saying: ‘You are the best nation produced for mankind: you enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong’ [Surah Āl ʿImrān 3:110]. Therefore, she must call to Allah with the Islamic manners and etiquettes required from a man…” Original Arabic fatwa from Ibn Bāz’s official website

May Allah reward this brother for his kind behavior and words and I accept your advice, however it is a major sin to say someting is forbidden when it is not, the same way when u say something is allowed and it is not. I will stand before Allah telling people something is forbidden when after studying it and looking at the evidence, i do not see it to be so is a violation in itself. May Allah make us and u successful and rectify our affairs, ameen.

Shaykh Salih al Fawzan said: “his statement: ‘And Abu Dharr said: A small amount of duʿāʾ along with righteousness is sufficient, just as a small amount of salt is sufficient for food,’ means: the goal is not to make abundant duʿāʾ without reflection or contemplation. Rather, the goal is that the duʿāʾ be sincere, even if it is little — just as a small amount of salt is enough to season and improve food.” —Taʿliqāt ʿala al-Jawāb al-Kāfi p.27

أَبُو إِسْلَامَ السَّلَفِيُّ الْمِصْرِيُّ
Subhān Allāh, what kind of fiqh saqīm is this? Does ʿUthmān ibn Farooq seriously think that after over 1400 years of Islām, the Ummah was waiting for him to come along and make this “discovery” that the hadīth says “his brother,” and therefore striking a non-Muslim in the face is somehow free game? As if the scholars of Islām, the fuqahāʾ, the people of ḥadīth, the people of uṣūl never noticed the wording until he magically uncovered it? The prohibition of striking the face is not restricted only to the Muslim. There are multiple aḥādīth that prohibit striking the face in a general, unrestricted manner! They come with wording that is muṭlaq and ʿāmm, covering whoever is struck, whether Muslim or non-Muslim. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “If one of you fights, let him avoid the face.” And he (peace be upon him) said: “If one of you strikes, let him avoid the face.” And he (peace be upon him) said: “If one of you strikes, let him avoid the face, for Allāh created Ādam upon His image.” And he (peace be upon him) said: “If one of you strikes, let him avoid the face, and let him not say: May Allāh disfigure your face.” These narrations are all sahih, and are not restricted to “your Muslim brother.” They are general. They establish a broad prohibition against striking the face. Not only that, but the prohibition even applies to animals! It is narrated from Jābir that the Prophet (peace be upon him) passed by an animal that had been branded on its face, with smoke coming from its nostrils. The Prophet said: “May Allāh curse the one who did this. None of you should touch the face or strike it.” So if even an animal is not to be struck on the face, then how does someone come along and claim that if a human being is a non-Muslim, then his face is suddenly halāl to strike!? Subhān Allāh. And what does that even mean practically? Are we now saying that any non-Muslim can be punched, slapped, or struck in the face just because of the fact that he is not Muslim? Can people go around striking random non-Muslims in the street because “the hadīth only said brother”? Is this the kind of foolish logic being spread publicly? The fuqahāʾ are agreed that the face is generally not to be struck. Consensus has been transmitted by scholars such as al-Qurṭubī, al-Jaṣṣāṣ, Ibn Qudāmah, al-Shawkānī, and others that striking the face is prohibited. ʿUthmān needs to fear Allāh and know his limits. Not every person with a platform is qualified to speak in every matter. He has been making one blunder after another, spreading odd and outlandish verdicts that many layman may follow. And if people follow these reckless takes, then he must fear that their misguidance and harm will be placed on his scale of bad deeds until he retracts and repents from them. Fame is a fitna. Ever since he has been increasingly involved with influencers, public figures, and online personalities, he seems to keep compromising or making some of the mindless takes in fiqh and fatāwā. The religion is taken from the texts collectively, upon the understanding of the salaf, with uṣūl, .. and give me one legitimate scholar that ever preceded you with such a fatwa? May Allāh guide us and protect the Muslims from speaking about His religion without knowledge. - Abū Islām al-Salafī al-Misrī ___ @gemshaykhuthman @abu_kutub
