Eleven months on, there is still no explanation for why India allowed Trump to play an intervening role in what the Modi government described as a limited operation targeting terrorist camps in Pakistan. The pattern is not new. After India’s Balakot airstrike on a terrorist camp in 2019, the world again learned of an India-Pakistan ceasefire not from New Delhi but from the White House — via Trump in his first term. Isn’t it striking that, in both instances, India initiated hostilities, yet the White House announced their cessation before India did? When India discarded the Talgo project in 2018 and began work on Train-18, it marked the start of something big.
For a long time, Indian Railways was known as a major importer of rolling stock. From LHB coaches to locomotives, we remained dependent on foreign nations. But this changed in 2018 with a clear vision, to become self-reliant.
That journey began with Train-18, now known as Vande Bharat, India’s first indigenous semi high-speed trainset. It became a benchmark and the beginning of a new era.
Fast forward to today, India is manufacturing its first high-speed trainset, B28, capable of running at 280 km/h. The next generation, B35, is already under planning with a top speed of 350 km/h.
At the same time, Indian Railways is upgrading its fleet with semi high-speed sleeper versions of Vande Bharat. And now, another big step, a broad gauge trainset designed for 220 km/h operations is in the pipeline, a speed no train in India has achieved yet.
2027 is going to be a landmark year. Indian Railways will be testing its fastest trains at 220 km/h, while NHSRCL will be testing the fastest trains in the country at 280 km/h and even 350 km/h.

From his actions, it does not look like bowling comes naturally to Arjun Tendulkar.
He lacks pace and the ability to swing the ball, so it is difficult for him to survive in the IPL. He needs to develop swing or somehow generate pace, only then will these yorkers work.
The other option is to present himself as an all-rounder, which may give him more opportunity to become a successful cricketer.
I wonder why in the world he cannot get suggestions from his father, the great Sachin Tendulkar. The whole world benefits from the advice of Sachin Tendulkar; why does his own son not get the same benefit?

The Delhi management has made several mistakes, in fact, even howlers during auctions and otherwise, but not going for Virat in 2008 wasn't one of them.
The 2008 side was packed with many Top order options, and along with many Indian batters anyway. Virat probably couldn't have made the XI in the entire season. Pradeep Sangwan was probably the only left arm pacer in that squad and he even played 7 matches.
The after effect of this decision is, that since then, the franchise has always looked to buy the U-19 WC winning captain. Or at least try to.

The first pick for a draft pick went to #delhidaredevils - they to everyone shock and surprise picked Pradeep Sangwan a delhi under 19 player. Instead of the no 1 draft pick @imVkohli - who not only is a Delhi boy but had just won the U-19 worldcup in Malaysia - the draft took place on March 11 2008 - virat had led India to win the World Cup on the 2nd of March 2008. @RCBTweets had the pick of the No 2 person in the draft - and as Virat was the top pick - Vijay got him. In hindsight - if that decision was different- would that have had an impact on delhi team ? What’s your take

A metro network with only 4 lines carries 10 lakh passengers daily. Once all lines start in MMR (about 8 lines) , it will carrry more number as passengers as BEST + TMT + NMMT + MBMT + KDMT & nearly 75% passengers as suburban railways (built over 125 years)
Kudos to @Dev_Fadnavis for making this possible in a short duration of 10 years to built more lines since 2016, after the Congress govt built only one metro line of 11 km in 8 years.
